The Rams expect that Josh Reynolds will, or at least play a significantly increased role, this season.

The Rams think Reynolds can step in with the loss of Brandin Cooks to the Texans. A fourth-round pick in 2017, Reynolds served mostly as a backup the past three seasons, but filled in as a starter when needed. In 48 games, Reynolds caught 61 passes for 832 yards and seven touchdowns.

Steelers RB James Conner (quad) will not play Sunday against the Ravens.

Conner did not practice all week and his chances were slim to none to actually suit up. The Steelers will go into their make-or-break game Sunday with Jaylen Samuels, Kerrith Whyte, Trey Edmunds and Benny Snell in the mix. Maurkice Pouncey also will not play with a knee injury.

Chances are looking slim that Conner will be on the field for the Steelers' do-or-die game against the Lamar Jackson-less Ravens. That would put Jaylen Samuels and Benny Snell back in the mix along with Kerrith Whyte and Trey Edmunds. The Steelers will also be without center Maurkice Pouncey, who was ruled out Tuesday with a knee injury. Not the shape the team wants to be in in a must-win situation.

The Steelers are still alive for a playoff berth but also need some help. First they must win against a Ravens team that's resting most of the starters. Pittsburgh also needs the Titans to lose. Snell and Samuels will take over in the backfield if Conner can't go.

Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray will practice today, coach Kliff Kingsbury said. Yesterday’s MRI showed that Murray “tweaked” his right hamstring.

Murray has a shot to play as long as he's as close to 100% as possible, Kingsbury has said so far this week. It's a good sign he's expected to practice Tuesday but his status is worth monitoring for the rest of the week. It's hard to imagine the Cards playing him if the hamstring isn't totally healthy.

Rapoport said the injury is just a regular, minor hamstring pull. It’ll be wait-and-see on his availability this week, with coach Kliff Kingsbury saying earlier if he’s healthy, he’ll go. The Cards will likely be very careful with this decision in a meaningless game. Hundley would get the start if Murray doesn't go.
