Eagles RB Miles Sanders told reporters Friday that ""I feel 100 percent. I'm ready to go."

The Eagles need their top running back after a brutal offensive showing last week. The only problem is that he gets to see Aaron Donald and the Rams' front seven. Sanders will be an low-end RB1/high-end RB2 coming off of his hamstring injury.

According to Ian Rapoport on Twitter, Philadelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders logged his second consecutive full practice session on Thursday.

Consecutive full practices, means, barring a setback, that Miles Sanders will be able to make his 2020 debut in Week 2. The Eagles offense struggled in Week 1, but that could have had as much to do with the ferocious defensive front of Washington as it did with having zero threats in the backfield. Sanders practicing in full also means that he should be ready for a full complement of snaps this weekend. Sanders is our 22nd ranked running back for Week 2.

The Eagles held Sanders out of the opener after he dealt with a hamstring issue for most of training camp. That cautious approach may pay dividends if Sanders is now back to full health, but soft tissue injuries are always difficult to deal with. Neither Boston Scott nor the team as a whole were particularly impressive in the season opener, so Sanders should jump back into a lead role if he returns this week. Sanders will carry RB1 upside in a matchup with the Rams.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Eagles RB Miles Sanders is on track to play Week 2 against the Rams.

Schefter also notes that Eagles RT Lane Johnson should return for Week 2. Both reports are great news for Sanders, who has dealt with a lingering hamstring issue throughout camp and the early season but should resume a high-volume role upon his return. Neither Boston Scott nor Corey Clement did much to worry Sanders owners in Week 1, and the team's poor offensive performance may lead Philadelphia to prioritize getting the ball in the hands of their playmaking back in Week 2.

The Eagles offensive line struggled to protect Carson Wentz as well as run the ball. Scott led the way with nine carries for 35 yards but only added two catches. Clement ran six times for 19 yards and also caught two balls. If Sanders sits again, Scott would be an option for lineups as a flex but it could be a tough go against the Rams.

Sunday's glimpse at the offense without Stefon Diggs, who was traded to the Bills in the offseason, showed the Vikings still need to find an electric deep ball player. Diggs was often the receiver clearing out for Adam Thielen or catching the ball over the top on deep post or go-routes off play-action. That player could very well become rookie Justin Jefferson, who has 4.43 speed. But in Jefferson's debut, the first-round receiver had two catches for 26 yards in 36 snaps. The only receiver to come close to Thielen's total was No. 2 Bisi Johnson, who had three catches for 56 yards.

Thielen had a great game without Diggs, going over 100 yards and adding two TDs in the process. But it looks like the Vikings will need another WR to step up at some point soon this season. As the story said, the Vikings offense needs time to get into a rhythm. Last season, the Vikings were 8-0 when they had at least 30 minutes in time of possession, but 2-6 in games when they had less than that, according to ESPN.

Sanders was listed as questionable for Sunday but the team is taking the cautious approach with Sanders being that it’s only Week 1. The old “marathon, not a sprint” mentality with their young running back. This should open the door for Boston Scott to see more work with Corey Clement and Jason Huntley behind him.
