Vikings WR Adam Thielen is reportedly “very happy” with the progress he has made in his recovery from a hamstring injury and could return to the lineup Sunday against the Chargers.

Fantasy Impact:

Thielen has been limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday , but Thielen said Thursday’s practice “was a win for me”. He also said “we’ll see how Friday goes for me”, but this is the most optimistic Thielen has been since the injury. And just in time for a fantasy championship run.

Vikings WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) is expected to be back in the lineup Sunday against the Chargers, barring a setback.

Fantasy Impact:

It would be Thielen’s first game since Week 9 when he left early against the Chiefs. Thielen has been getting closer but wasn’t quite ready enough to play in a game. Fortunately he now seems ready to play and if you made it this far without Thielen, you have to feel good about him coming back and likely getting right back involved in the offense, even against the Chargers secondary. Monitor his practice this week, but he looks ready to go.

Vikings WR Adam Thielen is doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Lions.

Fantasy Impact:

That short return back in Week 9 has really cost Thielen, as he’s set to miss yet another game after suffering the hamstring injury very early in that game against the Chiefs. The offense shouldn’t have much of an issue Sunday however against a Lions defense that has crumbled before our eyes. Kirk Cousins should have a solid game, especially considering it’s against a bad team.
