No updates on Michael Thomas other than he’s still dealing with toe injury.

“He’s out right now and hopefully he’s going to get well and we’re going to be able to get him back,” Dennis Allen said on Michael Thomas. Thomas will probably need to get back to at least a limited participation to have a shot to go in Week 5. Landy was also not spotted at practice today. Kamara has a chance to be back and could see an increased role, especially in the passing game.

Jameis Winston and Michael Thomas were not at the open portion of Saints practice today.

Terrell later tweet that HC Dennis Allen said the only update on Winston is that he's still rehabbing and is getting better. "We're just trying to get him healthy." Dalton played fairly well in the team's loss to the Vikings in London. Unfortunately for owners, Hill stole a touchdown late in the game. With Winston out, Hill will likely continue to see some gadget plays lining up at QB. Hill rushed five times for 21 yards in the game.

Alvin Kamara was at practice.

Great news for owners as he's hopefully trending back in a positive direction. Kamara played in Week 3 after missing Week 2, but was scratched for the team's game in London last week.

Lions coach Dan Campbell says they'll give a number of guys rest today. They're still day-to-day with D'Andre Swift and Amon-Ra St. Brown, but Campbell says they're "better."

Both players didn't suit up in Week 4. Swift was projected to miss "some" time so his return for Week 5 isn't a lock. Williams remains a nice play if Swift is out in Week 5. St. Brown's ankle injury wasn't considered serious so the hope is the team was being cautious with him in Week 4 and he'll have a better shot to be back for Week 5.

Chiefs WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (abdomen) is planning to play Sunday against the Buccaneers.

It sounds like MVS is going to push and try to play through the injury and return for the first time since Week 1, but he only practiced on Wednesday, so even if he does play, he may very well be quite limited Sunday night. And that's another issue for fantasy purposes, he's playing Sunday night and isn't a reliable option due to the injury, so either way, he's probably best suited for the bench this week in your lineups. MVS is currently our WR68 this week.

There's been yet another delay in Alvin Kamara's court case. Per Triplett, "each delay makes it more possible that he won't be suspended during the 2022 season.

The court case stems from an incident in Las Vegas before the Pro Bowl, and initial thoughts were that he could open the season suspended, but here we are. Kamara remains the Saints' RB1 for the 2022 season unless the court proceedings wrap up earlier in the calendar year than expected.

Jameis Winston isn't trending favorably to start their Week 4 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. While Andy Dalton would assuredly get the start in Winston's absence, one would think that Taysom Hill could see the field more often.

Dalton was "once again" taking his reps with the first team while Hill was with the second team. Michael Thomas was also missing from practice, so this could be a rough week for the Saints offense.

Frank Ragnow, Jonah Jackson, T.J. Hockenson, Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle), D'Andre Swift (shoulder) among the long list of players who won't practice today.

St. Brown and Swift are "day to day" the tweet went on say. But reports have said Swift is likely going to miss time, possibly two weeks leading up to the team's Week 6 bye. Williams would be a solid fantasy option at running back with Swift possibly out. St. Brown doesn't appear to have a serious injury but isn't a lock for Week 4 yet, but seems to have a better chance to go than Swift. Both players would probably need to log practice time to have a chance in Week 4.

Olave went off for 9 catches and 147 yards when the two got banged up last week against the Panthers. The Saints are flying to London for a Sunday morning game against the Vikings so owners will have plenty of time for adjusting lineups if both are out.
