Vic Fangio expects Broncos QB Teddy Bridgewater to start Thursday against Browns.

Bridgewater is dealing with a foot issue. The Broncos started 3-0 but have since lost three-straight games. It's a quick turnaround on Thursday night for the struggling Broncos who are going up against the banged up Browns team. If it turns out Bridgewater can't go, it would be Lock getting the start.

This Giants season is on the verge of skidding off the rails. Wide receiver Kadarius Toney and left tackle Andrew Thomas both are likely to miss time with their injuries, the News has learned.

Toney aggravated his right ankle injury and is being further evaluated, but sources have indicated it’s more serious than a simple sprain.

Toney hurt is ankle in Week 5 and was questionable to play in Week 6. He did, but left the game in the first quarter much to the disappointment of fantasy owners. Toney looked like he was flying up the depth chart, but if this injury is more serious he's likely going to miss time. That would keep Shepard and Slayton in the fantasy conversation behind Golladay, once they can get back on the field.

Giants RB Saquon Barkley (ankle) and Kenny Golladay (knee) will miss Week 6 against the Los Angeles Rams. WRs Darius Slayton (hamstring) and Kadarius Toney (ankle) are questionable.

Daniel Jones and company would be in a world of hurt if Slayton and Toney were to miss. Look for both to suit up with injuries an issue.

The Giants had WRs Sterling Shepard (hamstring), Darius Slayton (hamstring), and Kadarius Toney (ankle) all practiced in some capacity Wednesday. Shepard and Slayton have missed the past two games while Toney was injured in Week 5's loss to Dallas.

The returns of Shepard and Slayton are huge, especially if Daniel Jones (concussion) were to miss Week 6 and Mike Glennon starts. A healthy wide receiver corps is needed with the Los Angeles Rams visiting Week 6.

Kadarius Toney was banged up late against the Cowboys and is dealing with an ankle problem that has his status for Sunday's game against the Rams in doubt. Still, he is proving he might be the scariest weapon on this offense, even when running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) and receiver Kenny Golladay (knee) are healthy. The game plan is sure to feature him significantly more moving forward than early this season, when he was still getting up to speed.

The story went as far to say Toney "needs" to be a big part of the game plan going forward. However, as the story also said, Toney is banged up at the moment with an ankle injury so he may not suit up for Week 6. The same can be said for Shepard and Slayton as well. And, if Toney is a big part going forward when everyone is healthy, Shepard and Slayton likely move down a notch on the depth chart.

That Giants are banged up at all their skill positions. But, Golladay's injury status is a major sigh of relief all around for the Giants. The initial fear was that it was major, according to the tweet, but should be just a week or two, according to Rapoport. Still, Shepard and Slayton have missed the last two weeks and now Toney could miss time with a foot/ankle injury. With Saquon Barkley out, and QB Daniel Jones' status up in the air with a concussion, the G-men could be looking at Ross, Johnson and Board as their top three WRs in Week 6 ... with Mike Glennon at QB ... and at home against the Rams defense.

Golladay also left the game and Shepard and Slayton have been out dealing with soft tissue injuries. As for Toney, "I don't think it's anything significant, in terms of season-ending," Judge said. But it does sound like his status is in doubt for this week, according to the tweet. QB Daniel Jones is possibly out as well, which would leave the QB1 spot to Mike Glennon. The Giants offense looks like one to stay away from as they host the Rams in Week 6. If Slayton and Shepard are out, Ross, Johnson and Board could be the team's WRs.

HC Joe Judge said he's allow the league to handle any punishment that involves a suspension for Kadarius Toney. The Giants can't afford to lose Toney with the injuries to Kenny Golladay, Darius Slayton, and Sterling Shepard -- not after his 10 catches doubled the season total through his first three games. Toney had just 92 receiving yards prior to Sunday's game.

Toney was ejected for throwing a punch at Cowboys safety Damontae Kazee in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss. Toney had his breakout game in the NFL, even though all the discussion involves around his actions when he wasn't catching the football. He finished with 10 catches for 189 yards -- becoming the first Giants rookie with 10 catches and 175 yards in a game since Odell Beckham Jr. in 2014, the story said.

Broncos QB Teddy Bridgewater (concussion) is questionable for Week 5 at Pittsburgh. Bridgewater is out of concussion protocol and has practiced each of the last two days.
