If the Giants are going to finally win this week, there’s a good chance Kadarius Toney will finally have to play a significant role. Or so it appears right now.

The Giants saw two of their top wide receivers go down as Slayton and Shepard suffered hamstring injuries in Week 3. Surprisingly, after those injuries, Toney wasn't all that much of a factor in the game. But that could change, the story said. Shepard primarily plays in the slot, so if he can’t play this Sunday in New Orleans, Toney might wind up stepping in, according to the story. As of Monday, Shepard and Slayton were considered day to day according to Adam Schefter.

On Monday Night Countdown, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Giants WRs Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton are week to week with hamstring issues.

Both players left in the first half. Shepard came into the game as the team's leading receiver and was likely a popular waiver pickup heading into Week 3. Golladay led the way in Week 3 with a 4-64-0 line on five targets. Johnson had a 5-51-0 line with seven targets. Surprisingly, the rookie first round pick Toney only had three targets and finished with a 2-16-0 line.

Giants WRs Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton have both been ruled out for for the remainder of Sunday’s game against the Falcons with hamstring injuries.

The silver lining is rookie Kadarius Toney seems to finding his groove a bit in the Giants’ offense and is really going to have to step up if Shepard and Slayton both have to miss time. Kenny Golladay and C.J. Board will be other options as well for the time being.

“Obviously, not an ideal situation,” Baker Mayfield said, via Cleveland.com. “Trying to force him back inside. I think he realized it was me standing right there so he put his head down and ran right after me. It kind of popped in and out, but I will be good. Nothing too serious.”

Mayfield tried to make a tackle after being intercepted by Texans safety Justin Reid and went to the locker room with members of the training staff after the play to have his left shoulder evaluated. Mayfield wasn’t inside for long and returned to the sideline in time to take the field for the next offensive series. Mayfield should be good to go for Week 3, but it's certainly worth monitoring.

Browns QB Baker Mayfield went to the locker room after injuring his shoulder during the second quarter against the Texans.

He was attempting a tackle on an interception when the injury occurred. He was later seen on the sideline trying to warm up, so he may be back on the field. Case Keenum is Cleveland's backup.

He isn’t quite the New Orleans Saints’ prodigal son, but Kenny Stills is in for a reunion with the team that made him a pro.

NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported Stills is signing with the Saints practice squad. The plan appears to be for him to work on the practice squad until he’s game-ready. Other reports say the Saints wanted another veteran presence in the locker room with Michael Thomas sidelined at the moment. The Saints rolled in Week 1, but it was an odd game in terms of fantasy output. Harris had two catches for 72 yards and a TD and TE Juwan Johnson went for 3-21-2. But Callaway, had just one catch for 14 yards and Chris Hogan added a 10-yard TD for his only catch. We still have a lot to learn about this current group of Saints WRs from a fantasy-value standpoint.
