Washington TE Logan Thomas is expected to return to practice this week, per source.

Thomas has been on IR since Oct. 6 with a hamstring injury. The team will have a 21-day window to activate him, and if/when they do will depend on how he feels physically, the tweet went on to say. Thomas would be a welcome addition back to the lineup, especially since Seals-Jones was unable to play in Week 11. Bates got the start in Week 11 and had three catches for 23 yards.

Titans RB Jeremy McNichols (concussion) will miss Week 11's game against the Houston Texans.

McNichols was on track to be used on third downs at the very least, but his concussion prevented him from practicing. Look for a hot-hand committee at worst between Peterson and Foreman.

WFT WR Curtis Samuel (groin) is questionable for Week 11's game against the Carolina Panthers. TE Ricky Seals-Jones (hip) will miss Week 11.

WFT is extremely thin at tight end, but John Bates looked good in his first extended look. Samuel's positive week of practice could be parlayed into his first start in a month. It is also a revenge game scenario for Samuel, a narrative that could make him a flex option Week 11.

Titans RB Jeremy McNichols did not practice Wednesday due to a concussion.

This is news to majority of the fantasy world. McNichols had a chance to lock down a role in the running game but appears to be falling behind Adrian Peterson and D'Onta Foreman.

WFT WR Curtis Samuel (groin) will not play week 10, while WR Dyami Brown (knee) is questionable.

Samuel's season feels like a total 'L,' while Brown's anticipated return is good for him rest of season and as a dynasty target in 2022.

Jets WR Corey Davis (hip) is doubtful for Week 9's game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Mike White will be without the best receiver for the Jets, but did well with the trio still available.

Currently, Jeremy McNichols is the only other running back on Tennessee’s 53-man roster. But the club did just sign Adrian Peterson and D’Onta Foreman to its practice squad.

But coming in at midseason off the street at 36, there’s no guarantee he’ll be ready right away.

Peterson appeared in all 16 games, starting 10, for the Lions last year. He recorded 604 yards with seven touchdowns, also making 12 catches for 101 yards. He has the experience of being a bell-cow back, the story said. The Titans play the Rams on Sunday Night Football this week.

Rivera is hopeful that after the bye, Washington may be able to activate tight end Logan Thomas off injured reserve (hamstring) and return a number of starters, including right guard Brandon Scherff (knee), wide receiver Dyami Brown (knee), right tackle Sam Cosmi (ankle), cornerback William Jackson III (knee) and receiver Curtis Samuel.

Seals-Jones had just a 2-12-0 line last week after three solid games in a row with Thomas on IR. Now could be the time to take a shot on Thomas if he's on your wire and you're in need of TE help. Samuel has been dealing with a groin injury since spring, the story pointed out and could also be a stash option with Washington on a bye this week.

The Titans are signing FA RB Adrian Peterson, putting him on the practice squad.

Peterson will need to get up to speed but should project to get a lot of the early down work with McNichols remaining a change of pace and passing down back. Some who follow the team feel McNichols is not an every down back so it's possible Peterson has low-end RB2 or RB3 fantasy value going forward as Henry is expected to miss the rest of the regular season. The trading deadline is Tuesday and it's possible the Titans make another move, but for now, Peterson is expected to eventually be elevated to the active roster. When last seen with the Lions, Peterson ran 156 times for 604 yards and seven TDs in 2020.
