Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph (ankle) upgraded to questionable

Vikings announce Kyle Rudolph has been upgraded from doubtful to questionable for Sunday's game vs. Cincinnati. He is attempting to recover from an ankle injury in time to play Sunday. He has not missed a game since 2014.

Fantasy Impact:

Ankle injuries are tough to play effectively with, but Rudolph has been a warrior over the past few years. Our rankings have been updated to account for the possibility of Rudolph playing, but playing through the injury is a factor. If he doesn't play, expect Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs to see an uptick in targets.

Vikings place Sam Bradford on injured reserve, activate Teddy Bridgewater

The Vikings needed a roster spot with Teddy Bridgewater going on the 53-man roster and with QB Sam Bradford out several weeks, at least after last night’s knee procedure, they can make an easy swap today. Bradford headed to Injured Reserve.

Fantasy Impact:

Bradford's year is over after he underwent another procedure to clean up his ailing knee. Case Keenum is expected to get another start in Week 10 while Bridgewater works his way back.

The Vikings play on Monday night, so it’s risky to start Bradford this week. His return would boost the respective floors of Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen.

The Vikings lost one of their go-to playmakers Sunday when running back Dalvin Cook suffered a torn ACL.

But Minnesota’s offense will also get a playmaker back this week. Wide receiver Michael Floyd will be eligible to play in his first game with the Vikings after serving a four-game suspension.

Floyd, who spent the first five seasons of his career with Arizona and New England, joined the Vikings as a free agent this offseason.

“I think he’s just another added weapon, another guy who can make plays,” said Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen. “He’s a good locker room guy, and we love having him around. It’ll be good to have him back at practice.”

Fantasy Impact:

Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer said Monday that he wasn’t sure how much Floyd would be used in his first game back. “We’ll see how practice goes this week, and we’ll continue to work forward with that,” Zimmer said. “At this point, we’re just trying to get better.”
