Pelissero said the hammy is no worse after his brief appearance against the Chiefs. Thielen could apparently feel it pulling and needed to calm it down. One other note from the tweet is the team's bye is two weeks away, so it's possible the team errs on the conservative side and sits him until after the bye.

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer wouldn't speculate today on when Adam Thielen will return from hamstring injury. "Whenever the doctor says he's ready to play, he's ready.''

Consider Thielen questionable for Week 10, at best. If he misses time, Johnson will continue to see and increase in snaps at the WR spot and TE Smith could also continue to be more involved.

Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen's comeback from a hamstring injury was shortlived.

Thielen started on Sunday against the Chiefs but left in the first quarter after re-injuring it. The injury first occurred in Week 7 against the Lions on a touchdown catch.

Thielen was listed as questionable to return but sideline reports said Thielen commented he was done for the day. It's a re-injury to the hamstring Thielen has battled over the last several weeks. Owners should probably consider him week-to-week. To complicate matters, the Vikings play Week 10 on Sunday night so owners should probably have a backup plan.
