Bears QB Mitch Trubisky (left shoulder) missed practice again Thursday. Chase Daniel is very likely to get the start against the Raiders and isn't a bad spot start in Oakland.

We’re continuing to see plenty of Riley Ridley catches during the spring practices. He caught a touchdown Tuesday after Gabriel’s almost-score and seemed to be on the same page with Mitch Trubisky during the 11-on-11 work.

“So for Riley, he’s a really good route runner,” Nagy said. “His attention to detail is really high. And now I think the game is slowly starting to slow down for him and he has very natural hands so when the ball’s in the air he’s a 50-50 guy. He’ll get those footballs. But he’s playing really well.”

Fantasy Impact:

With Anthony Miller sidelined, Ridley appears to be getting more work, which could benefit his campaign to make Chicago's 53-man roster this season. His brother Calvin had a productive first year in Atlanta (64-821-10), and is being drafted as WR24 so far this season. If Ridley continues this trajectory, he could become fantasy relevant in an offense on the upward swing.

Jets QB Sam Darnold (foot) took full practice reps all week. He was removed from the injury report so he’s good to go. The just-officially-eliminated Packers have given up passing yards to the three competent quarterbacks they’ve faced in the last four weeks. Mitch Trubisky (235/2), Matt Ryan (262/2) and Kirk Cousins (342/3) all went over the 19.0-mark in fantasy points. Meanwhile, Darnold is coming off of 253/2 against the Texans, and he has at least 18.0 fantasy points in three of his last four home games. Throw in a budding rapport with Robby Anderson, and we have the makings of a solid fantasy outing.

Bears QB Mitch Trubisky feeling better

ears coach Matt Nagy wouldn’t say Monday whether he expects injured quarterback Mitch Trubisky to return to practice in full this week.

With the Bears preparing to host the Rams on Sunday night at Soldier Field, Trubisky’s availability will be a big deal. But Nagy kept his update at surface level during his news conference at Halas Hall.

Fantasy Impact:

Nagy was quoted in the story as saying Trubisky is getting better and feeling better. Trubisky has missed the last two games but resumed throwing last Friday before the team's game against the Giants.
