Seahawks extend WR Tyler Lockett for three years

The Seahawks gave wide receiver Tyler Lockett a three year extension worth a maximum of $37.8 million and $20 million guaranteed.

Fantasy Impact:

It's good money for the explosive wide receiver, who has overcome a major injury to his leg. He should be the No. 2 receiving option for the Seahawks at worst, and could vault to No. 1 if Doug Baldwin continues to struggle with injury. Lockett caught six touchdowns on just 68 targets in 2017.

This puts Schoonmaker more or less in TE streaming consideration, but there are far better options this week, which puts him low on the totem pole.

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
