NBA Player Prop Bets: Bam Stokes Flames for Heat

The NBA is making way for Final Four Saturday, so this five-game slate only gives three workable matchups with the pair of matinees. On a smaller slate like this that allows a deeper dive into each matchup, there can be some value had in how a player or team performs against a specific opponent.

There can be pitfalls in that strategy because the contrast of roster integrity on both sides matters a lot. If since the last time teams played, both made a trade and the nature of who a team changes, then that previous game experience does not mean a ton. That has applied to teams like Indiana and Portland, who have not only had big changes to the roster but also the intentions of the season. So the only true sample you can look at is anything after those deals were made. With that said, there is a matchup today where two of the props originate from, where the teams have stayed basically the same over the course of the year, and some of the numbers for the players contrast to their recent performance overall.
