NBA Player Prop Bets: Desperation Equals Motivation

Friday Night brings us two desperate teams looking to dig out of an 0-2 hole and fight their way back into their respective second-round playoff series.

The 76ers return home to face the No.1 seed Miami Heat after losing both road contests by an average of 15 points per game. There are rumors of a return for center Joel Embiid, which would greatly bolster a Philadelphia roster that has struggled on the boards. The 76ers have become perimeter-oriented on offense, and have allowed Miami center Bam Adebayo to post 23.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game in this matchup.

Dallas also returns back home after struggling to contain the super-efficient Phoenix offense in their first two Western Conference matchups. The Suns' defense has stifled the Mavericks' supporting cast while forcing Luka Doncic to carry an even greater offensive burden than the regular season. Doncic has averaged 40 points, 4.5 three-pointers made, and 8.5 rebounds over the first two contests. Will Phoenix change their defense, or continue to dare Doncic to beat them with superb nightly performances?
