The Ultimate Underdog Best Ball Mania IV Draft Guide
Building a team in Best Ball Mania IV is predicated largely on roster construction, team and game stacking, and various positional draft strategies. Of course, we still have to hit on players with outlier seasons to have a real shot to take down one of the big prizes.
When it comes to player selection, high-volume drafters should be thinking in terms of exposure and players they want to be overweight or underweight on—the average exposure to any given player is 8.3%. Exactly how much exposure you have to individual players is a personal preference but I am typically more aggressive with my exposures in the later rounds and more conservative with early-round players.
For each position, I will provide a blurb from my positional draft strategy article that offers general thoughts on how to approach the position followed by my favorite targets at that position and how I’m thinking about roster construction within each positional tier.
A player listed as a target is simply a player that you should be willing to take at or slightly ahead of ADP or be well overweight on. You should have some exposure to most of the relevant players in the pool and be willing to draft your underexposed players when they slip well past ADP.
