Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Watch Week 6: Jeff Wilson is No Castaway
As a refresher, The Drop List consists of players who are rostered in at least 50% of Yahoo leagues and are no longer must-have assets, recommended additions are available in over 50% of Yahoo leagues, the Watch List contains in-depth notes on fringe waiver adds, and Deep Cuts includes player notes on those rostered in 5% or fewer of Yahoo and FFPC leagues.
The Drop List
-
QB: -
-
RB: Dalvin Cook
-
WR: Brandin Cooks
Dalvin Cook’s share of the Jets’ backfield touches has progressively decreased in each of the last three games (44% < 33.3% < 17.1%).
The WR100 (!!!) in PPR points per game, Brandin Cooks has totaled 73 receiving yards on 19 targets (15.3% share) across four appearances. You wouldn’t start him during the bye weeks.
Dalton Kincaid’s safety valve role underneath did not change on Sunday, mirroring Dawson Knox in routes run (15) with a 5.5-yard depth (to Knox’s more enticing 9.5) in the first two quarters against Jacksonville. Kincaid has since entered the league's concussion protocol. Every suggested addition at tight end this week is ranked higher than Kincaid for Week 6.
There are too many tight ends with comparable outlooks to Pat Freiermuth's, the TE25 in PPR points per game, to hang onto him through Pittsburgh's bye. He currently ranks 27th in target share (9.8%) at his position.
