Week 8 NFL Player Props: Best Player Props to Bet from Connor Allen
Week 7 Recap: Week 7 left a lot to be desired. We had our first losing week in over a month, but thankfully, it was less than a unit. We had some interesting beats, both positively and negatively. We took Alvin Kamara under 52.5 rushing yards on Thursday Night last week, and Kamara had fewer than 10 yards at half. He had multiple long runs in the second half, including a 15-yard draw play with less than 2 minutes left in the game for us to lose. That was a rough way to start the week. We also lost James Cook under 55.5 rushing yards, with him finishing at 56 and getting a meaningless one-yard carry on their final drive. The luck bounced back our way on Monday with a bet on Ray-Ray McCloud. We took his over 13.5 receiving yards because he was in over Jauan Jennings in 2 WR sets in Week 6 with Deebo out. Shanahan flipped the script in Week 7 and decided to play Jennings over McCloud. This led to literally zero targets through 59 minutes of gameplay. He caught a 9-yard pass and an 11-yard pass on the final two plays of the game for him to go over his prop. Last week was a good example of variance if the handicap doesn’t play out. If coaches decide to change usage or randomly run the ball in a negative game script, it makes handicaps a bit tougher! On to Week 8…
