Most of Fantasy Sports EVO's contests are either head-to-head or 3-person contests. That means you don’t need to get too contrarian and can focus on playing the best plays. Without diving too much into the strategy, the best place to start for a contest like this would be to use sportsbook totals. If a game is expected to score a lot of points, you probably want to have teams in that game. Vice versa for picking your defenses as well.

For the niche contests, like 3-pointers, understanding how many each team attempts per game is an important stat. Also focusing on how an opponent's defense functions could help you get an edge as well. Certain teams are more susceptible to 3-point shots as well.

Fantasy Sports EVO Scoring

Fantasy Sports EVO has multiple different game types for each sport. Their classic NBA game allows you to select 6 NBA teams to build your lineup. You select 3 teams for offense and 3 teams for defense. Scoring is as follows:

Offense

Point Score: 1.00 Pt
Assist: 1.50 Pts
Offensive Rebound: 1.00 Pt
Turnover: -2.00 Pts

Over 125 Points Scored: 5.50 Pts

Defense

Block: 2.00 Pts
Steal: 2.00 Pts

Another layer is that you get to pick one offense and one defense to each get a 1.5x multiplier! Choosing your most confident team in each multiplier slot and then building your lineup from there makes a lot of sense. You can also re-use the same teams on both offense and defense. For example, if you use the Celtics as your 1.5x multiplier on offense, you can do the same for defense.
