How Will Jack Bech Mesh in Vegas for Fantasy Purposes?

The Raiders kept the rebuild moving by selecting Jack Bech 55th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. The former TCU WR joins fellow rookie Ashton Jeanty, the sixth man drafted, in a newly led Pete Carroll offense. Bech has a chance to contribute right away, so let’s dig into what this pick means for fantasy football purposes.

Jack Bech, the Prospect

At LSU his freshman season, Bech led his team in receptions with 43, despite sharing the field with Malik Nabors, Brian Thomas Jr., and Kayshon Boutte. That next season, he took a step back and then transferred to TCU in 2023, where in his senior year, Bech broke out with a fruitful 62-1034-9 campaign.

Check out Bech’s impressive charting by Matt Harmon at Reception Perception.

What stands out is his success rate on the short and intermediate routes. Bech has 100% success on his comebacks, flats, and outs, and he's shown solid hands with the ability to separate. As we can see, he predominantly played outside but can line up anywhere and compete.

Jack Bech's Fit with Las Vegas

The Raiders desperately needed WR help, and Bech should slide right in with plenty of opportunity. There are 174 available targets from 2025, which is the fourth most in the NFL, and the rookie should be the third passing option for new QB Geno Smith after Brock Bowers and Jakobi Meyers. In the Vegas WR room, last year's WR3, Trey Tucker, only had 539 yards and three trips to the end zone and should return to a more fitting role for his skillset as the downfield rotational guy. Beck can be that WR2 they require as he has solid hands and can run anything in this emerging offense.

There's a chance Bech even supplants Meyers as the WR1 at some point, but it likely won't be in 2025, barring an injury to Meyers. Of course, we can't forget about the Raiders' first pick, Jeanty, as he did have an 80-862-6 receiving line while at Boise State and should see some work in the passing game. We all know Pete Carroll loves to establish the run, too, so expectations should be tempered all around for Bech this season, but he does have the talent and opportunity for fantasy relevancy in 2025.

Fantasy Outlook of Raiders Players

Brock Bowers is coming off a record-setting rookie TE season and will remain the undisputed target getter and overall TE1 drafted this summer. His current Underdog ADP is 14.4 and likely won't move much, if at all. Meyers has been underrated for a few years and is coming off a pretty good season despite the abysmal QB play, where he averaged 8.0 yards per target and 11.6 half-PPR points per contest as the WR26 in that category. He's currently leaving Underdog boards as the WR42, which seems low, considering his role as the WR1 likely won't change, with Beck sliding in as the Raiders' WR2 ahead of Tucker.

Bech's ADP is WR75 as an 18th rounder in best ball and makes for a really nice option for any Raiders stack. His ceiling is much higher than his fantasy WR7 price tag, so snag him now before he rises with any training camp buzz. I'd say WR4/5 production is a relatively safe outcome for Bech's rookie campaign, considering the path to volume and improved QB situation in Las Vegas.

Bottom Line

  • Jack Bech was drafted by the Las Vegas Raiders with pick No. 55, after already beefing up the offense wth RB Ashton Jeanty sixth overall.
  • Bech should slide right in as the third passing option in this offense behind Brock Bowers and Jakobi Meyers, with the fourth-most targets in the NFL.
  • With an improved QB under center, consider Bech a WR4/5 with upside, and he's a solid value right now considering his ADP is that of a WR7.
  • Bowers is still the TE1, and Meyers could see a bump in volume if Bech takes to the NFL easily, but should still be drafted as a fantasy WR3.
