Fantasy Football: Sleeper WRs

When your draft hits the double digit rounds, things start to get dicey -- but there are still gems to be had. Below you'll find five players that I think have a good chance to be starter-caliber by midseason. I'll also discuss a few overlooked players who are sitting near the top of their team's WR depth chart that may be able to make some noise. Finally, there are a few underrated PPR guys that are worth a look in deeper leagues.

UPSIDE

Mike Sims-Walker (10.04)

MSW was a disappointment in 2010 and I'm sure fantasy owners are leery of placing any trust in him again. But he's joining Josh McDaniels' offense, which was the catalyst in Brandon Lloyd's revival last season -- why can't the same be true for this 26-year-old wideout who has caught 14 TDs in the last two seasons? And it doesn't hurt that he has the up-and-coming Sam Bradford throwing to him.

Robert Meachem (11.02) & Lance Moore (12.10)

I might as well discuss these two together. In PPR leagues, I'd rather have Moore, who catches a lot of the short stuff and is a favorite target of Drew Brees around the goal line. I'd lean Moore in standard leagues as well, but Meachem's value is enhanced in non-PPR formats due to his ability to make the big play. Since Marques Colston is struggling with a knee injury, both players are getting a bump in value. Fantasy owners may have to nab Moore in the 9th or 10th in PPR formats.
