Jets Backup QB Mark Brunell (pulled calf) was a no-show at the Tuesday morning walk-through, confirming that his injury is more than just a tweak. But it apparently isn't severe enough for the Jets to start checking out the QB market.
"We're not looking at another quarterback," Rex Ryan said. "We think Brunell will be fine (for the Sept. 11 opener)."
If, for some reason, Brunell isn't ready, rookie Greg McElroy would be the No. 2 QB, behind Mark Sanchez.
