The journey begins Friday night for Jags wide receiver Justin Blackmon.
The Jaguars’ first-round pick, still making up for lost time after a 12-day holdout, will make his preseason debut against the New Orleans Saints.
The team put Blackmon in the starting lineup as soon as he was allowed to practice so he could get more reps with quarterback Blaine Gabbert.
Blackmon and Gabbert are the team’s past two first-round picks, and the Jaguars hope they will form the combo that will carry the passing game for the rest of the decade.
The story goes on to say Blackmon is still working his way into game shape, but he's definitely worth a late-round pick if you can get him. The problem with highly-touted rookies is someone is sure to take him way before he should go. We rank Blackmon 57th, but he has an ADP of the 11th round. It's the same ADP as guys like: Anquan Boldin, Michael Crabtree and Titus Young.
