Week 13 at Houston Texans
Carson Wentz had 306 yards, three touchdowns and a pair of interceptions last week in a loss to the Buccaneers. The Colts had to throw the ball more than they’d like to keep up against the Tampa Bay offense, and Wentz ended up with his second-highest passing attempts (44) of the season. It’s notable that four of his five interceptions this year have come in those two games with over 38 passing attempts.
This week, Wentz faces a Texans defense that ranks 16th in aFPA to opposing quarterbacks. Wentz threw a pair of touchdowns against them earlier this season, and the only downside of this matchup is the potential for a blowout victory by the Colts, leading to limited pass attempts. Still, he’s been solid enough to consider as a streaming option and we have him ranked as a fringe QB1 this week in a nice matchup.
