CIN WR A.J. Green - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Cleveland Browns

A.J. Green scored a touchdown for the second straight game and was targeted 9 times which is his most since Week 5. He is still the most dangerous offensive player in a Bengals offense that has been lethargic in 2017. He is always capable of having a huge fantasy day.

Green faces the Browns this week, who are ranked 10th in aFPA to wide receivers. He had 5 catches for 63 yards and a touchdown in the first meeting between the two back on October 1st and he has historically been very good against Cleveland.

We expect that to be the case in Week 12. Start Green in all leagues and formats as one of the top five fantasy wide receivers this weekend.

CIN WR A.J. Green - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Denver Broncos

A.J. Green recorded his third 100+ receiving yard game of the season and added a touchdown in the loss to Tennessee. Green still remains one of the best receivers in the NFL despite the overall struggles of the offense. The consistency isn't there because of that factor.

It won't be easy in Week 11. Green faces a good pass defense in Denver, who is ranked second in aFPA to wide receivers. That will make it tough on Green this week. He only ranks as a low-end WR1 on Sunday against the Broncos.

CIN WR A.J. Green - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Tennessee Titans

A.J.Green gets an incomplete last week after being ejected from the game for fighting with Jalen Ramsey. Before that, Green had 1 reception for 6 yards. It will be a fresh slate this week for Green who continues to be one of the best fantasy wide receivers in the NFL, even though he has not put up big numbers in recent weeks.

The Titans are up next and rank 23rd in aFPA to wide receivers. This is a good matchup for Green and the Bengals passing game. We expect a huge game for Green which makes him one of the top fantasy plays in the NFL for Week 10. Start him in all leagues and formats.

CIN WR A.J. Green - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Jacksonville Jaguars

A.J. Green for the second straight game had only 3 receptions, but he did reach the end zone for the fourth time in his last five games. No need to worry at this point as he was targeted 8 times, but there is no doubt the production overall lately has been disappointing for a talent like Green.

It won't be any easier in Week 9 as the Bengals visit Jacksonville, who is ranked No. 1 in aFPA to wide receivers. Teams have game-planned to take away Green in the past but that hasn't really worked on a consistent basis.

Although we don't rank Green as a top-five fantasy receiver, he still is a solid WR1 against the Jaguars.

CIN WR A.J. Green - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Indianapolis Colts

A.J. Green put up surprisingly average numbers against the Steelers, a team he has had success against in recent years. But don't think for a second, Green won't bounce back. He still is second in the NFL in receiving yards and double digit targets are usually the norm.

The opponent is right as Indianapolis is 29th in aFPA to wide receivers. Green has had double digit targets every other game and considering he had a season-low six last week, the odds are good for Week 8. Start Green as a top 5 fantasy wide receiver against the Colts, Start him in all leagues.

CIN WR A.J. Green - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Pittsburgh Steelers

A.J. Green has three games this season with double-digit targets, and his lowest single-game total this season was 7. He is the main option on the Bengals offense. He had a 189-yard receiving game against Buffalo before the bye week and scored a touchdown for the third straight game.

He will now face the rival Steelers, who are ranked fifth in aFPA to wide receivers. With the exception of last year's game (he missed the second meeting in 2016), Green has had a lot of success against Pittsburgh. Couple that with the targets, and Green is a top-five fantasy receiver for Week 7. Start him in all leagues and formats as a strong WR1.

CIN WR A.J. Green - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Buffalo Bills

A.J. Green was okay against Cleveland last Sunday. He did reach the end zone for the second straight week, but considering how good Cincinnati looked on offense, Green only had 7 targets and 5 receptions for 63 yards.

That shouldn't discourage anyone as Green is still one of the best fantasy WRs every week. Even going against a Bills defense ranked sixth in aFPA to wide receivers, Green will put up very good WR1 numbers. Start him as a top-5 fantasy receiver for Week 5 and expect the targets to be higher than last week.
