49ers RB Matt Breida (shoulder, ankle) missed practice Thursday. He hasn’t been ruled out for Sunday, but he’s looking doubtful. Alfred Morris is a Sneaky Start if Breida can’t play. Even Kyle Juszczyk is worth a look in PPR formats if Breida is out.

49ers Matt Breida sustained a mid- to high-ankle sprain.

Fantasy Impact:

The tweet said he'll undergo an MRI on Monday to see how much damage was done. Maiocco said Breida may not be able to go Week 6 which would leave Morris as the main ball carrier. And, it's possible he misses a couple of weeks. The 9ers want to give it time to heal and not be something that bothers him throughout the rest of the season. Juszczyk had six catches for 75 yards in the loss, so he could have some value in deeper formats.
