Scouting report

DAL WR Amari Cooper - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at New York Giants
After only catching one pass two weeks ago against the Jets, Amari Cooper caught five passes for 106 yards. It was his third 100+ receiving yard game of 2019. Cooper actually had 106 receiving yards in the opener against this week's opponent New York.

The Giants are 26th in aFPA to wide receivers. Although he has been the main target for QB Dak Prescott, he has disappeared some of the games this season. However, we don't think that will happen in Week 9. Start Cooper as a top 5 fantasy wide receiver against the G-Men.

DAL WR Amari Cooper - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at New York Jets
It took the Cowboys to get down early to get Amari Cooper a great fantasy night in Big D. He finished the night 11 catches for 226 yards and a touchdown. Of course, Dallas lost and those were some padded stats, but nobody cares in a fantasy football.

Cooper faces the Jets who are 24th in aFPA to wide receivers. Don't expect the Cowboys to get behind this week and don't expect the numbers Cooper had last week.

He still is a great play for Week 6. Start Cooper in all leagues and formats as a solid WR1 against New York.

DAL WR Amari Cooper - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs Green Bay
One interesting thing about Amari Cooper's numbers is he has not been targeted in double-figures yet this season. His results have been okay, but so far we are seeing numbers like last week - five receptions for 48 yards. Last week was a tough one as he did not reach the end zone for the first time in four games this season. The scores have helped his value.

Cooper will face a Packers team that is 2nd in aFPA to wide receivers. We expect Cooper to have a very good game despite the fact that teams have run the ball at will against Green Bay and that's where the Cowboys focus will be,

Cooper's numbers will be higher this week because it's going to be a big offensive day for Dallas. Start him as a WR1 in all leagues and formats.

DAL WR Amari Cooper - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at New Orleans
Amari Cooper had another strong game last week and now has four touchdowns on the season. The connection between him and QB Dak Prescott has been outstanding. Cooper probably was under-drafted in most leagues but his early numbers are very good.

It will be another great matchup for Cooper as he faces the Saints who are 30th in aFPA to wide receivers. Despite being on the road, this game is prime time Sunday night and the Cowboys want to send a message to the rest of the league.

Start Cooper as a solid WR1 for Week 4. The Cowboys offense is probably the second-best offense in the NFL and it's going to take a really good defense to stop the fantasy stats from piling up.

DAL WR Amari Cooper - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs Miami
After a 100-yard receiving day in Week 1, Amari Cooper's numbers dropped in Week 2. He was only targeted five times which produced four receptions for 44 yards. However, his fantasy week was salvaged as he scored a touchdown for the second week in a row, Nothing to worry about as the Cowboys passing game still flourished. Just a day when Cooper did not see as much action.

It's a great matchup for Week 3 as Cooper faces the Dolphins who were ranked 31st in aFPA to wide receivers in 2018. We expect a big day for QB Dak Prescott and the Cowboys offense.

Start Cooper as a top 5 fantasy wide receiver this Sunday in all leagues and formats. Expect a big day for him as WR Michael Gallup is out so Prescott should be looking his way even more.

DAL WR Amari Cooper - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 at Washington
With the Dallas passing game clicking last Sunday, Amari Cooper's expectations were met. He caught six passes for 106 yards and a touchdown. Cooper was targeted a team-high nine times and had very good chemistry with QB Dak Prescott.

Cooper will face the Redskins who were 17th in aFPA to wide receivers. He faced them once last season and had a monster game with eight catches for 180 yards and two touchdowns.

If Prescott continues to play like he did, Cooper will consistently be an WR1 all season including this week against Washington. Start him in leagues and formats.

DAL WR Amari Cooper - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs New York Giants
Amari Cooper will now get a full season with his quarterback Dak Prescott and this should let him be a very good fantasy wide receiver in 2019. Cooper was reborn after coming over from Oakland during the season and gave the Cowboys a true No. 1 receiver.

Cooper will face a Giants defense Week 1 that was 24th in aFPA to wide receivers. He was limited to five receptions for 31 yards in the season finale last season, but should be ready to be more impactful this time around.

Start Cooper Week 1 as a solid WR1 and expect around six receptions for 80 yards and his odds of scoring are very good as Prescott looks for him in the red zone.
