Scouting report

GB TE Andrew Quarless - Week 4, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Andrew Quarless Week 4 vs. Bears
Andrew Quarless had four receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown last week and has surpassed rookie Richard Rodgers, at least in the passing game. He faces a Chicago defense that has allowed seven receptions to tight ends in each of the past two weeks for 89 and 87 yards, respectively, after shutting down Buffalo's tight ends in the opener. Quarless could be a sneaky bye-week replacement this week.

GB TE Andrew Quarless - Week 3, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Richard Rodgers Week 3 vs. Lions
Andrew Quarless has four catches in two games. The Lions have allowed 12 catches for 135 yards and a touchdown to opposing tight ends, but it would be a stretch to say Quarless is going to exploit that.

GB TE Andrew Quarless - Week 2, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Andrew Quarless Week 2 vs Jets
With Richard Rodgers sidelined early with a stinger, Andrew Quarless got the bulk of the work at tight end last week, catching three passes for 26 yards. That's about his peak performance at this point.

GB TE Andrew Quarless - Week 1, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Andrew Quarless, Week 1 vs Seahawks
Quarless lost his starting job to rookie Richard Rodgers but that doesn't mean he won't see some targets. How many, exactly, is the question. It likely won't be enough to put Quarless in your lineup.

GB TE Andrew Quarless - 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Fantasy Upside
Andrew Quarless will see time as a tight end in Green Bay's potent offense.

Fantasy Downside
Rookie Richard Rodgers is starting ahead of Quarless, the starter when Jermichael Finley went down last season. Quarless isn't guaranteed to be anything more than a part-time player.

Bottom Line
Quarless is going undrafted in most leagues and for good reason. Even when he was starting last season - albeit most of the time without Rodgers at QB - he only had three games with more than three receptions. He'll be available on the waiver wire if he carves out a bigger role.
