Scouting report

KC TE Anthony Fasano - Week 10, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 – Anthony Fasano at Buffalo Bills
Many of you probably saw Anthony Fasano’s unlikely touchdown catch in Kansas City’s 24-10 victory over the New York Jets. While it was a neat moment, with Fasano laying on the ground as the ball landed in his lap for a touchdown, it was also Anthony’s first touchdown since Week 1 and he heads into this weekend with just 19 receptions. His limited fantasy value eroded many years ago.

KC TE Anthony Fasano - Week 9, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 – Anthony Fasano vs. New York Jets
Anthony Fasano's best days are behind him, but he gets some receptions because of Alex Smith's passion for dinking and dunking. Fasano caught four passes for 19 yards as Kansas City beat St. Louis 34-7 last Sunday. Despite still being part of the offense, Fasano has passed the torch to Travis Kelce and won't help fantasy owners attain success.

KC TE Anthony Fasano - Week 8, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 – Anthony Fasano vs. St. Louis Rams
In two of his last three games, Anthony Fasano has failed to catch a pass. The veteran tight end long ago faded into insignificance and has been at his home on Waiver Wire Way long enough to pay off the mortgage.

KC TE Anthony Fasano - Week 7, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 – Anthony Fasano at San Diego Chargers
Block first, catch second Anthony Fasano continues to be marginalized by Travis Kelce in Kansas City’s offense. In his last game, Fasano caught four passes for 32 yards. This crafty veteran offers nothing to fantasy owners.

KC TE Anthony Fasano - Week 5, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 – Anthony Fasano at San Francisco 49ers
Now a forgotten man in the passing game with the emergence of Travis Kelce, Anthony Fasano pitched a shutout Monday night, failing to catch a pass while the Chiefs hung 41 points on the once-powerful New England Patriots. Fasano, who once caught seven touchdown passes back in 2008, is pretty much destined to remain in fantasy obscurity for the rest of his career.

KC TE Anthony Fasano - Week 4, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 – Anthony Fasano vs. New England Patriots
In another in a long line of ho-hum, nothing to see here performances, veteran blocking specialist Anthony Fasano caught two passes for 23 yards in his return to Miami last Sunday. Fasano had played for the Dolphins from 2008 to 2012. With Travis Kelce continuing to shine and the Chiefs leaning on their ground game, Fasano has a long-term lease at Waiver Wire apartments.

KC TE Anthony Fasano - Week 3, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 – Anthony Fasano at Miami Dolphins
After catching a touchdown pass in week one, Anthony Fasano was quieter last Sunday, catching three passes for 39 yards, much to the delight of those who consider him a hindrance to Travis Kelce’s development. While Fasano will probably continue to be a nuisance to Kelce, he has been a limited fantasy producer for years. He will continue to maintain a presence on the waiver wire.
