Bucs WR Chris Godwin, who suffered an MCL sprain, is expected to miss the rest of the regular season, source said.

Fantasy Impact: 

With three games left, Injured Reserve makes sense, Rapoport went on to say. Godwin should be able to return for the playoffs, which obviously is most important the tweet pointed out. Brown's return to the team is coming at a key time as he could be the team's top receiving target. Evans' hamstring injury is not as serious but his status for Week 16 is still up in the air. The Bucs have an early Sunday game in Week 16 at Carolina.

Bucs’ HC Bruce Arians on the decision to bring back WR Antonio Brown and S Mike Edwards after they misrepresented their vaccination status: “Yeah, it’s in the best interest of our football team. Both of those guys have served their time and we’ll welcome them back.”

Fantasy Impact: 

Those who kept Brown around all this time, through injury and suspension, could be greatly rewarded as we enter the fantasy semifinals and finals. The Bucs lost Evans and Godwin on Sunday night this past week and both could be looking at missing multiple weeks. The team also lost top pass-catching RB Leonard Fournette, so Brown could be in store for a lot of targets over the next few weeks.

Buccaneers decision on WR Antonio Brown 'could go either way'

Last week, PFT reported that the Buccaneers are considering cutting receiver Antonio Brown, who currently is serving a three-game suspension for using a fake vaccination card. On Tuesday, coach Bruce Arians made it crystal clear that termination is on the table.

Appearing on The Dan Patrick Show, Arians said as to the decision regarding Brown, “It could go either way right now, it really could.”

Fantasy Impact: 

Earlier this week the team said "we'll see how it goes." The story made a point about how cutting Brown seems to be on the table and would probably be the right thing to do. However, Brown could end up on a competing team, the story mentioned the Packers as an example, which probably means the Bucs will hold on to Brown in the end. The team said a decision could come later this week or early next week. Brown is still suspended for this week's game and was also dealing with an ankle injury.

“I haven’t made that determination yet, but we’ll see how it goes,” HC Bruce Arians said, via Joey Knight of the Tampa Bay Times about WR Antonio Brown.

The Bucs play the Saints at home next Sunday and any decision about Brown will have to come early next week.

Fantasy Impact: 

Brown is still suspended for Week 15's game but was also dealing with an ankle injury before the suspension was handed down. Brown falsified his vaccine status and Arians said earlier in the season Brown would be gone if he "screws up one time." This seems like a screw-up, but the Bucs are battling for a top seed in the NFC and are among the favorites to return to the Super Bowl.
