If Cardinals RB Beanie Wells can't play on Sunday in Baltimore, Alfonso Smith is likely to start, but LaRod Stephens-Howling and Chester Taylor likely would play there, too.

"It will be a little bit of back-by-committee," head coach Ken Whisenhunt said when asked who would play if Wells was out.

Fantasy Impact:

It's not a great matchup against the Ravens and it seems to be a situation to just stay away from, at least for this week.

Arizona RB Beanie Wells likely to miss 1-2 weeks with a bone bruise.

Fantasy Impact:

Alfonso Smith and La'Rod Stephens-Howling should handle RB carries and could be targeted on the waiver wire this week. But, next week the Cardinals take on Baltimore which won't be a good matchup. Should Wells miss week 9, it would be against St. Louis.

Arizona Cardinals running back Beanie Wells says his hamstring is 99% back to normal, and that his synergy with his blockers is at a high right now.

Fantasy Impact:

Wells is questionable on the injury report, but expected to play tomorrow in Minnesota and this is further evidence that he should be in Arizona's lineup. And he should be in your lineup as well.
