Scouting report

PIT RB Benny Snell Jr. - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Arizona Cardinals
Benny Snell produced 63 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries, also catching one pass for four yards last week against the Browns. Snell likely gets the bulk of the rushing attempts again this week, but Arizona's run defense hasn't been against the run, but does allow a lot of receptions to opposing backs. That would tend to favor Jaylen Samuels being a bigger factor in this game than it would Snell. Snell, however, could be useful as a flex play.

PIT RB Benny Snell Jr. - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Cleveland Browns
Benny Snell returned to the lineup after missing the previous three games with a knee injury and produced 97 rushing yards on 21 carries. He also had one catch for five yards. Look for him to get at least 15 carries in this game, as well, with James Conner out. Snell should be useful as a flex option this week at home against the Browns.

PIT RB Benny Snell Jr. - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Cincinnati Bengals
After missing the past three games with a knee injury that required minor arthroscopic surgery, Benny Snell should be back this season. That's good news for the Steelers with James Conner sidelined. Snell should take over the power runs for the Steelers in short-yardage situations and also be a factor in the base offense, as well. Look for at least 10 touches and possibly more against a Bengals defense that allows 5.0 yards per carry and has given up 13 rushing touchdowns this season.

PIT RB Benny Snell Jr. - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Miami Dolphins
Don't be misled by Snell's heavy workload against the Chargers prior to the bye. He was playing because James Conner had a quad issue following his most heavy workload game of the season. Snell earned some touches, but Jaylen Samuels is back practicing fully, so Snell's might be on borrowed time. He shouldn't be in your lineup this week.
