Scouting report

TB TE Cameron Brate - Week 12, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Seattle
Cameron Brate has had a few games of relevancy this season, but overall he's been very up-and-down. He's a TE2 play this week against a tough Seahawks team, and is mostly a touchdown dependent option.

TB TE Cameron Brate - Week 11, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Kansas City
Cameron Brate has now caught a touchdown in three straight games, making him an attractive tight end option in fantasy. However, he'll get a tough matchup against the Chiefs this week, who have only allowed one score to the position all year.

Brate is an interesting choice, but he's been touchdown dependent for most of the year. He's not a great choice this week in a tough matchup, and should be viewed as a TE2 at best.

TB TE Cameron Brate - Week 10, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Chicago
Cameron Brate is not too far behind from being second in receptions and yards on the team. He is second in receiving touchdowns with four, including one in each of his last two games.

Brate hasn't been putting up Gronk-like numbers, but he has been serviceable for most weeks. He's a touchdown dependent option, however, and is a low-end TE1 at best in a difficult matchup against the Bears.

TB TE Cameron Brate - Week 9, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Atlanta
Cameron Brate caught a touchdown last week, his third of the season. Brate has had production in every game this season, but hasn't been fantastic. He's only eclipsed 50 receiving yards once in seven games, and hasn't even had 30 yards in his last two outings.

He gets a favorable matchup against the Falcons this week, and could be a solid bye-week filler if he finds the end zone. That said, Brate will be a touchdown dependent option and a lower-end TE1 play.

TB TE Cameron Brate - Week 8, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Oakland
Cameron Brate showed some promise earlier this season, but has struggled in his last two games. There's a chance for him to do well this week against the Raiders, as they've been a favorable matchup against tight ends this season.

We don't love Brate this week, but if you need someone at the position, he's not a terrible choice. He should be viewed as a very low-end TE1 option this week against Oakland.

TB TE Cameron Brate - Week 7, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at San Francisco
Cameron Brate has been pretty solid this season, aside from the team's last game where he finished with just one catch. We like his chances to rebound in Week 7 against a favorable 49ers' defense.

Brate's role could be increased with Vincent Jackson sidelined. The team needs another big-bodied receiver to pair with Mike Evans, and Adam Humphries is more of a slot man. Brate should be viewed as a low-end TE1 play.

TB TE Cameron Brate - Week 5, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Carolina
Cameron Brate has been pretty solid all season long, and is starting to become a waiver wire hero for fantasy teams. The tight end position is a difficult one to find production from, so if Brate is on waivers, he's worth an add.

If you do add him, it'd be smart to start him in Week 5 in a favorable matchup against the Panthers. Carolina has allowed the fourth-most points to tight ends, highlighted by the four touchdowns they've given up over the past three games.

Brate should be viewed as a low-end TE1 play with upside this week.
