Scouting report

CHI WR Cameron Meredith - Week 12, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Tennessee
Cameron Meredith caught four passes for 49 yards last week. It wasn't a great effort, but at least he broke his three game streak of catching just one pass. Meredith is the top target in this offense moving forward (until Alshon Jeffery gets back), but he's still unreliable.

Meredith has a chance for a decent outing this week in a favorable matchup, but he won't be much more than a low-end WR4 option.

CHI WR Cameron Meredith - Week 11, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. New York Giants
Cameron Meredith has caught just one pass in each of his last three games. He got lucky last week with a Hail Mary touchdown reception, but outside of that, he didn't contribute much. That should change moving forward, however, as Alshon Jeffery will be sidelined with a suspension.

Meredith was a fantasy darling earlier in the season when Brian Hoyer was targeting him. Jay Cutler doesn't seem to have the same fondness for Meredith, but he may have to get more acquainted with the young wideout now.

This is a difficult matchup for Meredith this week against the Giants. He should be viewed as a WR4, with more upside in PPR formats.

CHI WR Cameron Meredith - Week 10, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Tampa Bay
After having two big games of 9 receptions and 11 receptions, Cameron Meredith has fallen down to Earth. He's had just one catch in each of his last two games, as well as two targets in both games. With Eddie Royal's return, there's not a lot of reason to like Meredith moving forward. His stats aren't there, and he's been untrustworthy.

Meredith could find some success this week against such a bad Bucs' pass defense, but his value has certainly dropped.

CHI WR Cameron Meredith - Week 8, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Minnesota
Cameron Meredith has come on in recent weeks, but he had a poor game last week with just one catch as the Bears had to resort to Matt Barkley at quarterback.

Meredith should have more than one catch in Week 8, but he does have a tough matchup against the Vikings. It will be interesting to see how Meredith performs with Jay Cutler under center, and so for this week we view the young wideout as a WR4.

CHI WR Cameron Meredith - Week 7, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Green Bay
Cameron Meredith led the Bears in targets for a second consecutive week and has turned into a great PPR play. He finished last week with 11 catches for 113 yards after going 9-130-1 in Week 5.

Meredith clearly has a large role in this offense, and that should grow this week with Eddie Royal expected to be sidelined. On top of his success, he'll have a favorable matchup Thursday night against the Packers.

Meredith's production has been no joke, and there's no reason to see it subsiding. He's a legit WR2 play in a good matchup.

CHI WR Cameron Meredith - Week 6, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Jacksonville
Cameron Meredith became an interesting prospect two weeks ago after Kevin White went down, and then he exploded last week. Meredith hauled in 9-of-12 targets for 130 yards and a touchdown, making him a top priority waiver add this week.

Will Meredith's success continue? There's no reason to doubt him as of now, but it is a little surprising to see him blow up out of nowhere. Still, with another favorable matchup, we can see Meredith as a WR3 this week against Jacksonville.
