Coach Ron Rivera says that Christian McCaffrey's "back is a little sore, but he is doing just fine." He did not practice yesterday, but Rivera said that the "Wednesday off day" is the new norm for McCaffrey.

Fantasy Impact:

The new off day for McCaffrey is the new norm because he's carrying the team and he's hurting. He'll need more than soreness to miss time, but with his workload, Reggie Bonnafon should be on fantasy benches.

Christian McCaffrey's day off from practice was labeled as a veteran's day off, but the injury report has him out with a back issue.

Fantasy Impact:

It is likely that Christian McCaffrey and his gobs and gobs of fantasy points are ready to go in London this Sunday against Tampa Bay, but a long flight isn't exactly what the doctor would order for a back that is acting up. We should learn more about the extent of the injury before any fantasy decisions need to be made, but keep RB Reggie Bonnafon on your radar or pick him up if you have room.
