Scouting report

CIN TE C.J. Uzomah - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Baltimore
After his monster game on Thursday night two weeks ago, C.J. Uzomah has come back down to earth. He has five catches for 31 yards over the past two games although he did score a touchdown against the Lions last Sunday.

Uzomah has a good matchup against the Ravens who are ranked 23rd in aFPA to tight ends. That helps push him to TE2 status for Week 7 but not high enough to start. Keep him on the bench.

CIN TE C.J. Uzomah - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Detroit
After a huge Thursday night game a few weeks ago, C.J. Uzomah came back down to earth last week where we have seen him most of the season with a couple of targets and a couple of receptions. There are too many other options for QB Joe Burrow on the Bengals.

Uzomah is a bench player for depth at best and probably is a non-roster guy at this point of the season even though he is clearly the starter.

CIN TE C.J. Uzomah - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Baltimore
C.J. Uzomah is on the field a lot for the Bengals - twice as much as starter Tyler Eifert. But he is out there blocking more than being a receiver. He only has seven targets this season. so really isn't a fantasy option.

CIN TE C.J. Uzomah - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at Pittsburgh Steelers

C.J. Uzomah has been consistently involved in the offense. Last week, he caught four passes for 49 yards and a touchdown. It was only this third touchdown catch of the season which has been disappointing but more of a reflection of the Cincinnati offense.

Uzomah will face the Steelers who are 18th in aFPA to tight ends. The Bengals have struggled overall since Andy Dalton went down with an injury. That has affected Uzomah who should remain on the bench for Week 17 as a TE2.

CIN TE C.J. Uzomah - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Cleveland Browns

C.J. Uzomah has been quiet the last two weeks with only four receptions for 64 yards. He hasn't had many big games this season even though he has been involved in the offense. Both Bengals top receivers are out this week so Uzomah might get some more opportunities.

Uzomah has a good matchup against Cleveland who is 24th in aFPA to tight ends. But the lack of production lately and a struggling Bengals offense will continue to limit Uzomah who only ranks a TE2 for Week 16.

CIN TE C.J. Uzomah - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Oakland Raiders

C.J. Uzomah continues to put up consistent numbers although nothing to make him stand out in fantasy. Last week, he had three catches for 37 yards. His average over the last three games has been about 36 yards per game. He has not been a red zone threat as he has not scored a touchdown since Week 7.

Uzomah has a great matchup this week against Oakland who is dead last in the NFL in aFPA to tight ends. However, that is not enough to push Uzomah into your starting lineup as he rates a TE2 for Week 15. Keep him on the bench.

CIN TE C.J. Uzomah - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Los Angeles Chargers

C.J. Uzomah has been targeted 19 times in the last two games which resulted in 11 pass receptions. However, that has garnered him only 72 receiving yards and zero touchdowns in those games. With star receiver A.J. Green out for the season, the targets should remain, but only in the short passing game.

With only two touchdowns on the season, Uzomah doesn't seem much of a red-zone or big play threat. He will face the Chargers who are 11th in aFPA to tight ends. Those factors keep him on the bench for Week 14 as a TE2.
