IND TE Coby Fleener - Week 17, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Coby Fleener - Week 17 vs. Tennessee Titans
Dwayne Allen is injured and is likely not to play this week. That opens the door for Coby Fleener. Fleener had a nice stretch during the midway point of the season, but lately he's been just average. He's a low-end TE1 option this week.

IND TE Coby Fleener - Week 16, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Coby Fleener - Week 16 vs. Dallas
Coby Fleener caught two passes for 32 yards last week against Houston. Fleener can be a good option some weeks and other weeks he can be just okay. He gets a great matchup this week against Dallas as the Cowboys have allowed the third most points to opposing tight ends. But his up and down stats make him a bit of a risk. He should be viewed as a low-end TE1.

IND TE Coby Fleener - Week 15, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Coby Fleener - Week 15 vs. Houston Texans

The Colts favored Coby Fleener over Dwayne Allen last week. Allen returned from injury, but the Colts looked Fleener's way 10 times compared to Allen's three targets. Fleener finished with five receptions for 56 yards.

This week he draws a tough matchup against Houston. He did catch a touchdown when he faced the Texans earlier this year, but he didn't do much else. Fleener isn't a great option this week and is a bottom-of-the-barrel TE1.

IND TE Coby Fleener - Week 14, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Coby Fleener - Week 14 vs. Cleveland Browns

Where has this Coby Fleener been? The Colts' tight end has flourished with Dwayne Allen out of the lineup. He's had two 100-yard games in the last three weeks. But it's important to note he threw in a 2-28 stinker in the middle of those games.

While Fleener has been very impressive, he's proven over his career to be unreliable. There's also the case of Allen returning from injury this week (not official, but looking likely). Fleener will likely go back to the numbers he was producing earlier in the season, which weren't that impressive.

He should be viewed as a TE2 option this week.

IND TE Coby Fleener - Week 13, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Coby Fleener - Week 13 vs. Washington

We learned our lesson last week: never trust Coby Fleener. After two great games and with Dwayne Allen being inactive all signs pointed to a breakout performance by Fleener. Instead he catches two passes for 28 yards.

Allen has been ruled out again this week, but will it be good news for Fleener? The Redskins are a favorable matchup, so he's got a chance. He has more upside than most other players at his position so he should be viewed as a low-end TE1.

IND TE Coby Fleener - Week 12, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Coby Fleener - Week 12 vs. Jacksonville

Dwayne Allen is expected to miss this week, which means more Coby Fleener! The third-year tight end has put up back-to-back big performances and could be a big part of this offense moving forward. Last week he went 7-144 (catching all seven targets) and the week before he finished with 4-77-1 (on 11 targets).

He gets a decent matchup this week against Jacksonville, but that's really besides the point. If Allen misses this week Fleener should easily be a TE1.

IND TE Coby Fleener - Week 11, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Coby Fleener - Week 11 vs. New England

For some reason Coby Fleener was a major part of the Colts' offense the last time the team played. He had 11 targets come his way, but he only caught four passes. Fleener made good use of them going for 77 yards and a touchdown, but that's not likely to last. His 77 yards were a season high and the week before he caught one pass for four yards.

Fleener is not a strong option at tight end since he's unreliable. One week he could have a big game, but the next he could finish with nothing. He's a TE2 option at best, and only because of the prolific offense he plays in.
