LAR WR Cooper Kupp - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs Seattle

Kupp had one of his best games of the season before last week’s bye, as he saw a season-high 20 targets which he turned into 11 receptions for 110 yards. With the Rams in comeback mode, Jared Goff locked onto Kupp to give Los Angeles a fighting chance. Kupp has produced reliable WR3 numbers throughout the season with a few blowup WR1/2 spots scattered throughout.

Taking on the Seahawks in Week 10, who are ranked dead last in aFPA to WRs, Kupp is primed for another blowup game. With a struggling secondary with its weakest point coming in the slot, keep Kupp as a strong WR2 in a game that should turn into a shootout quickly.

LAR WR Cooper Kupp - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Miami

Last week’s game against the Bears saw Kupp catch all six of his targets 43 yards and he chipped in the running game as he had one carry for 16 yards. As it has gone all season, the combination of a diverse passing attack combined with a heavy running game leaves Kupp and Robert Woods dependent on touchdowns to produce numbers outside of the WR3 realm.

Week 8’s matchup against Miami has Kupp squaring off against the 12th ranked defense in aFPA to WRs this season. With Miami’s poor rushing defense, managers should expect a low-target day for the WRs as the RBs takeover in this one. Kupp is WR3 in this one.

LAR WR Cooper Kupp - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs Chicago

Kupp has his worst game of the season last week against the 49ers as he only caught three passes for 11 yards. Even though those stats are season-low, he tied his season-high in targets with nine, but it was a difficult matchup, nonetheless. We have seen from both Kupp and Robert Woods this season, where if they do not score a touchdown, their receptions and yards are only sustainable to make them WR3s.

Week 7 will be a tough spot for Kupp to rebound as Chicago boasts the 3rd aFPA defense against WRs this season. Kupp and the Rams offense will be in for a difficult matchup against the Bears, so owners so should temper expectations for Kupp as he is looking as WR3 in this one.

LAR WR Cooper Kupp - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at San Francisco

Kupp saw eight targets last week against Washington which he turned into five receptions for 66 yards. After consecutive games with a touchdown, Kupp failed to reach the endzone in this one, yet he remained the target in leader amongst the rest of the receiving group. The latter has been true all season, however, because how much the ball is being spread out both through the air and on the ground, Kupp’s ceiling is capped. His matchup this week against San Francisco and the 17th ranked defense in aFPA to WRs should see be another one for Kupp. However, without the target volume, Kupp will remain a touchdown-dependent WR2.

LAR WR Cooper Kupp - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Washington

Kupp finished as the Rams leading receiver last week against the Giants as he turned his seven targets into five receptions for 69 yards and one touchdown. In what was already shaping up to be a dud for Kupp, he broke loose for a 55-yard catch-and-run touchdown late in the fourth quarter, salvaging what would have been his worst game of the season. Kupp had the same number of targets as Robert Woods, but he saw fewer snaps, which has been the norm all season.

With Jared Goff spreading the ball around, Kupp has consistently remained the most productive Rams receiver this season, making his Week 5 matchup against Washington one that should keep in the high-end WR2 conversation.

LAR WR Cooper Kupp - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Buffalo

Kupp had a better showing in Week 2 than in the season opener as he finished with five catches for 81 yards to go along with 19 rushing yards. There wasn’t much in the passing attack for Rams in this one as Tyler Higbee was the focal point for the offense, but the good thing is that Kupp was more involved throughout than the previous week. Still working out of the slot, Kupp is going to draw easier matchups in against an elite Buffalo defense, which will make him the more desirable option in the is Rams passing game. We like Kupp as an upside WR3 in this Week 3 contest.

LAR WR Cooper Kupp - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 at Philadelphia

Fresh off signing a lucrative contract extension, Kupp turned in an uninspired performance Week 1 as he finished with four catches for 40 yards on five targets. The good thing is he was only behind Robert Woods in targets (8) and was on the field for almost 85% of the snaps. Continuing to work out of the slot, Kupp is in a prime position for a rebound game against the Philadelphia Eagles who gave up 50 yards on just three catches to Washington slot receiver Steven Sims Jr. If Kupp continues to see heavy work out of the slot, expect to have his first big game of the new season, making him a solid WR2 with plenty of upside.
