Raiders OC Greg Knapp also said that FB Marcel Reece will be used primarily as a halfback Sunday, while Darren McFadden gets back into football shape.

Fantasy Impact: 

Don't expect a full workload for McFadden. Reece will get 5-10 carries and his normal work in the passing game. He's probably the better start since this is McFadden's first game back. The Browns are a good matchup for RBs.

Fantasy Impact: 

HC Dennis Allen said that Marcel Reece has "earned the right to carry the ball some," so it sounds as if Reece will have a role in the running game regardless of the status of McFadden or Mike Goodson. He should remain a flex start, especially in PPR formats where his receiving skills are even more valuable. McFadden probably won't get a huge workload, but could make some noise in a nice matchup against the Browns.

Both Raiders RBs Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson were limited, and while it's not known if either will play, or how much, coach Dennis Allen said fullback Marcel Reece has staked his claim to some more carries.

While both backs were out, Reece carried 48 times for 225 yards in three games, averaging 4.7 yards per carry.
"Marcel has earned the right to carry the ball some,'' Allen said. "We'll use him in that capacity.''

Fantasy Impact: 

It sounds as if Reece will have a role in the running game regardless of the status of McFadden or Goodson. He should remain a flex start, especially in PPR formats where his receiving skills are even more valuable.

Raiders RBs Darren McFadden (ankle) and Mike Goodson (ankle) took limited practice reps Wednesday. It appears possible that one or both RBs will play in Week 13 in a good matchup with the Browns. Marcel Reece may go back to his role as pass-catching specialist if McFadden is deemed healthy enough to carry a big workload. Reece (hamstring, quadricep) practiced fully Wednesday.
