Raiders WR Darrius Heyward-Bey lined up opposite Denarius Moore with the first team at this week's minicamp.

Fantasy Impact:

DHB had a breakout 2011, racking up 64-975-4 despite missing Week 2 and only seeing one total target in Weeks 9-10. Over the final five games, Heyward-Bey averaged 5.8 catches for 91 yards and 0.6 TDs. Draft both DHB and Moore and you'll have built-in insurance for your receiving corps.

San Francisco’s district attorney has charged Oakland Raiders wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey with drunken driving following his early morning arrest on the Bay Bridge last month by the California Highway Patrol.

Fantasy Impact:

Heyward-Bey signed a contract worth $39 million in 2009, so it's puzzling that he doesn't have a driver or hire a car service when he goes out drinking. This is a situation to monitor, but DHB doesn't have a history of problems with the law, so he probably won't serve any time.

When asked if Darrius Heyward-Bey would have his first 1,000-yard season in 2012, Raiders beat writer Steve Corkran said, "Yes, I fully expect that to occur."

Fantasy Impact:

Considering Heyward-Bey gained 975 yards in 15 games in 2011, it's not much of a stretch to predict a 1,000-yard season, but it's important that DHB's role as the teams WR1 or WR2 is established early on. His snaps were erratic in 2011 but he was productive in his targets averaging 1.08 Fantasy Points / Target, which ranked #53 out of the 119 WRs who saw at least 30 targets in 2011. That's not too bad considering all the changes the Raiders saw at QB. With a full offseason to work with Carson Palmer, DHB's production should increase.

Wide receiver Jacoby Ford, who hasn't played since the last time the Raiders played the Chargers on Nov. 10, expects to play after practicing Wednesday through Friday.

"I'll be out there," Ford said. "If I practice this much this week and I'm not out there, I'd be mad. I'll be out there, though."

Jackson said he is not inclined to have Ford return kickoffs after being out for five games, leaving that duty to Bryan McCann.

Fantasy Impact:

Darrius Heyward-Bey and Denarius Moore are the better fantasy plays this week. Both are risky with significant upside.
