HOU WR DeAndre Hopkins - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
In the come-from-behind win over Oakland last Sunday, DeAndre Hopkins turned 13 targets into 11 catches and 109 yards – the second straight game he’s eclipsed the century mark. Surprisingly, only three of Deshaun Watson’s 16 TD tosses this season have gone to Hopkins, but his favorite WR is still averaging 10 looks each week. Look for Hopkins to lead the Houston passing attack again in London.

HOU WR DeAndre Hopkins - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Oakland Raiders
For the first time since Week 1, DeAndre Hopkins was in the end zone and posted over 100 yards last Sunday against the Colts. On a team-leading 12 targets, he snagged nine passes for 106 yards and his third score of ’19. In what has been considered a down season so far, Hopkins is still averaging seven receptions and 73 yards. Expect another strong outing from him against a bad Oakland pass defense, Hopkins is our No. 2 WR this week.

HOU WR DeAndre Hopkins - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Indianapolis Colts
Even though DeAndre Hopkins didn’t register a touchdown last week at Kansas City, he collected nine receptions for 55 yards and scored a two-point conversion. In short-yardage situations, it was Deshaun Watson hooking up with his reliable WR for first downs, as Hopkins averaged only six yards per grab. Hopkins has now gone five weeks without a score but is receiving a minimum of seven targets each outing. Despite the TD drought, he should remain a fantasy starter.

HOU WR DeAndre Hopkins - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Kansas City Chiefs
With Deshaun Watson throwing for over 400 yards and five scores last week versus the Falcons, surprisingly DeAndre Hopkins was held out of the end zone, finishing with seven grabs for 88 yards. Hopkins hasn’t scored or been over 100 yards since Week 1, but he’s registered at least five catches in every game this season and is averaging 70 yards per outing, Hopkins can have a bust-out game at any time, so keep him in your starting lineup.

HOU WR DeAndre Hopkins - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Atlanta Falcons
For the third straight week, DeAndre Hopkins was held out of the end zone in the home loss to the Panthers last Sunday. Deshaun Watson threw for just 160 yards, with Hopkins collecting five receptions for 41 yards, the second time in ’19 he’s been held to less than 50. Through the first month of the season, Hopkins has been targeted an average of nine times per game but it’s only leading to 65 yards per outing. Atlanta’s pass defense is tied for seventh-best so far but Hopkins should always be a part of your starting lineup.

HOU WR DeAndre Hopkins - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Carolina Panthers
With Deshaun Watson passing for over 350 yards last week against the Chargers, DeAndre Hopkins turned seven targets into six receptions for 67 yards. After a blistering Week 1, Hopkins has totaled 107 yards and no TDs the past two contests. While he’s always a must-start, temper expectations again this week for Hopkins as the Texans are facing the No. 2 pass defense.

HOU WR DeAndre Hopkins - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Los Angeles Chargers
Deshaun Watson and the Texans offense struggled last week at home versus the Jaguars, totaling just 263 yards. As a result, DeAndre Hopkins didn’t do much, catching five passes for only 40 yards. Consider the game a fluke for the QB and star player, as the duo should be able to get things going in Los Angeles on Sunday. Hopkins remains out top WR for Week 3.
