Scouting report

TEN TE Delanie Walker - Week 10, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs Green Bay
Walker hauled in five catches for 42 yards and a touchdown last week for a solid effort. He's still a big part of the passing game, though it hasn't been quite as much as last season. Walker does have a nice matchup this week with Green Bay. The Packers have allowed 14 receptions for 143 yards to tight ends in the past two games. Walker is a decent, not great, start this week.

TEN TE Delanie Walker - Week 9, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at San Diego
Walker got just five targets last week, but that matched the team high in a blowout win against Jacksonville. He has at least four receptions and 66 yards in three of his past four games after missing some time, so feel to use him as a TE No. 1 moving forward. San Diego has allowed some big tight end games this season, especially to more talented tight ends and Walker definitely qualifies as that.

TEN TE Delanie Walker - Week 8, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Jacksonville
Walker had his most productive day of the season, catching seven passes for 84 yards and a score on eight targets. He's got a tough matchup this week, however, against a Jacksonville defense that has not allowed more than six receptions or 48 yards to the tight end position. Jacksonville also has given up just one tight end score. Walker isn't most tight ends though, and he had two eight-catch games against Jacksonville last season. As usual, he's a solid TE play.

TEN TE Delanie Walker - Week 7, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Indianapolis
Walker had a disappointing week, catching just one pass for 21 yards last week as Marcus Mariota looked elsewhere. But Indianapolis just allowed nine TE catches for 116 yards and a score last week. Walker is better than any tight end on Houston's roster and should have plenty of room to work this week. He should bounce back as a solid tight end play.

TEN TE Delanie Walker - Week 6, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Cleveland
Walker could very well turn out to be the best TE play in fantasy this week, given Cleveland's terrible play against opposing tight ends. He seems to be over his injury issues and had five catches for 66 yards and his second touchdown last week. Cleveland has given up double digit receptions to opposing tight ends three times already this season and five TE touchdowns, all in the past two games. Walker is a strong, strong play this week.

TEN TE Delanie Walker - Week 5, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Miami
Walker saw a season-high eight targets last week, which was a good thing. The bad news is Marcus Mariota is struggling so badly right now that he's even overthrowing his big tight end. Walker had just two catches for 32 yards last week. That said, he was 6-for-6 on targets in his previous game. Walker is one of the top tight ends in the league and he typically gets plenty of volume. He's a No. 1 starter this week.

TEN TE Delanie Walker - Week 4, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Houston
Walker missed last week's game with a hamstring that was still troubling him this week. Keep an eye on the injury report Friday to see if this usually stud tight end makes it back. Houston has allowed just 10 tight end catches in its first three games, as well. Walker isn't most tight ends and will see plenty of passes thrown his way if he does play, but temper your enthusiasm.
