TEN RB Derrick Henry - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
What a performance Derrick Henry put on versus the Texans last Sunday. In the overtime win he carried 22 times for 212 yards, including a 94-yard TD and a five-yard score out of the Wildcat formation to end the game. If that wasn’t enough, Henry also caught a 53-yard pass. He has already posted three 100-yard games and found paydirt six times the past three games. If there’s one defense that is geared up to slow Henry it’s the Steelers who are allowing just 66 rushing yards per game.

TEN RB Derrick Henry - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Houston Texans
Versus Buffalo on Tuesday, Derrick Henry was held to a season-low 57 yards but offset that with two TDs. In four games this year he’s rushed for over 100 yards twice and been in the end zone four times – all in the past two contests. The Texans run defense is the second worst in the NFL, so expect to see a heavy dosage of Henry on Sunday.

Week 5 vs. Buffalo Bills
The Titans continue to feed Derrick Henry, as he rushed 26 times for 119 yards and his first two scores of the season in the win at Minnesota two Sundays ago. Through three contests in ’20 he’s received 80% of the teams rushing attempts. Even though the Bills are giving up just over 100 yards per game on the ground, Henry is always a must-start.

Week 3 at Minnesota Vikings
In the win over the Jaguars last Sunday Derrick Henry was given the ball 25 times for 84 yards. In the first two weeks he already has 56 carries but is averaging just 3.6 yards per attempt and has yet to find the end zone. Henry will continue to be fed the rock against a Minnesota defense that hasn’t been able to slow down its first two opponents, making the Titans RB in line for another solid outing.

Week 2 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
After being bottled up by the Denver D last season, Derrick Henry got some revenge on Monday. He finished with 116 hard-earned yards on 31 carries and caught three passes. While he was held to fewer than four yards per attempt, Henry was the only Titan RB to carry the ball and will continue to be fed the rock on a weekly basis. Jacksonville limited the Colts to less than 100 yards on the ground in the opener, but Henry is always a top RB play.

Week 1 – Derrick Henry at Denver Broncos
What a breakout season Derrick Henry had in ’19. He led the league in carries and yards and scored 18 total TDs. After recently signing a four-year contract he’ll be the Titans workhorse again this season. In Denver last year Henry was held to a season-low 28 yards on 15 attempts, as the offense struggled all game. Expect much better results from Henry in the opener, so there’s no doubt he should be inked into your starting lineup.
