PIT WR Diontae Johnson - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Cincinnati Bengals
The Steelers passing game has been awful the past couple weeks and Diontae Johnson's fantasy numbers have suffered. He has three receptions for 33 yards over the last two games and Pittsburgh finally made a move to fire OC Matt Canada. We will wait and see how that affects the Steelers overall offense.

Johnson is facing the Bengals who are ranked 23rd in aFPA to wide receivers. Last season in two games, he had 11 receptions for 76 yards and that has been the trend - lots of targets and receptions - small receiving yard and touchdown totals.

Start Johnson as a high-end WR3 or Flex for Week 12. This is a favorable matchup for the Steelers passing game, but still plenty of questions about the overall offense.

PIT WR Diontae Johnson - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Cleveland Browns
Dionate Johnson was quiet last week as the Steelers relied more on their running game. He only had four targets which is very unusual and that produced only one reception for 17 yards. Since he has returned from injury, Johnson has been QB Kenny Pickett's favorite target.

Johnson faces the Browns who are ranked sixth in aFPA to wide receivers. In the first meeting this year, he was injured but he Johnson has had mixed results against Cleveland in the past.

Start Johnson as a WR3 or Flex for Week 11. Even though this will be a defensive battle, his targets should go back up and he does have some value despite the tough matchup.

PIT WR Diontae Johnson - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Green Bay Packers
A healthy Diontae Johnson has 23 targets in the last two games which has produced 15 receptions for 175 yards and a touchdown. He has always been a PPR machine, but now he is also getting good yardage and finally got that elusive touchdown last week.

Johnson faces a tough Packers pass defense that ranks eighth in aFPA to wide receivers. He shouldn't be fazed and will continue to get those targets even with a struggling offense.

Start Johnson as a low-end WR2 for Week 10. He should continue to be a fantasy asset for managers in all formats.

PIT WR Diontae Johnson - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Tennessee Titans
Diontae Johnson returned from injury with a solid fantasy performance, especially in PPR leagues. He had 14 targets and eight receptions for 85 yards, and that's with a pretty pathetic Steelers offense.

Johnson will face the Titans on Thursday who are ranked 29th in aFPA to wide receivers. With Kenny Pickett expected to play, Johnson's targets should be there again.

Start Johnson as a low-end WR2 for Week 9 and even higher for PPR leagues. He should have a good night in Prime Time.

PIT WR Diontae Johnson - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
The good news is the Steelers got Diontae Johnson back in the lineup from injury with five receptions for 79 yards. The bad news is he might be out again as he missed practice on Thursday and is questionable for Sunday.

Keep an eye on the injury list. If he plays, he ranks as a WR3 or Flex in a very favorable matchup against Jacksonville.

PIT WR Diontae Johnson - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Los Angeles Rams
We aren't sure if Diontae Johnson is 100% healthy but he is expected to play against the Rams. It isn't an easy matchup as Los Angeles' defense has been good for the most part this season.

Johnson is a fringe starter this week for fantasy managers because of his health status and the Steelers overall offensive woes. You might be able to slip him into a full PPR league, but otherwise keep him on bench for Week 7 and see how he performs in his return.
