JAX WR D.J. Chark - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Houston Texans
The sophomore season continues to be a good one for D.J. Chark, as he finished last Sunday’s win versus the Jets with six receptions for 79 yards and his sixth TD. Through the first half of ’19, he’s averaging five grabs for 83 yards, twice registering over 100 yards. The Texans have the fifth-worst defense against the pass, so Chark should be used as a WR2 start.

JAX WR D.J. Chark - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. New York Jets
Against the Bengals last Sunday, only four of Gardner Minshew’s 32 pass attempts went in the direction of D.J. Chark. He finished with three grabs for 53 yards and contributed a 20-yard run. After scoring five times the first five weeks, Chark hasn’t found the end zone the past two contests, totaling 116 yards. He has a nice matchup against a porous Jets pass defense on Sunday, so expect a better performance in front of the home crowd.

JAX WR D.J. Chark - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Cincinnati Bengals
The New Orleans defense stymied the Jaguars offense last Sunday, with D.J. Chark being held to season lows of yards (43) and catches (three). Despite the off game Chark is still averaging 88 yards and has scored five times. Jacksonville should be able to get the offense going on the road against the second-worst defense. Chark should remain a part of your starting lineup.

JAX WR D.J. Chark - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. New Orleans Saints
Even versus the Carolina stout pass defense, D.J. Chark had his best day as a pro. Gardner Minshew came his way 11 times, resulting in eight receptions for 164 yards and two TDs. It was Chark’s second 100-yard game of the season and he’s already scored five times. He’s No. 5 in receiving yards in ’19 and has a good matchup at home versus an average New Orleans secondary. Keep on riding the Chark wave.

JAX WR D.J. Chark - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Carolina Panthers
In the comeback win at Denver last week, D.J. Chark had a TD called back by penalty just before halftime, ending his streak of a score in three straight. On a team-leading eight targets, he finished with four receptions for 44 yards, his lowest yardage total of the season. Chark leads Jacksonville with 19 receptions but will be going against a Carolina D that is No. 1 at stopping the pass. Temper expectations for Chark on Sunday.

JAX WR D.J. Chark - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Denver Broncos
Three games and three TDs so far for D.J. Chark. He caught his third touchdown of the season in the victory versus Tennessee last Thursday, collecting four receptions for 76 yards along the way. On 18 targets in ‘19, Chark leads the Jags with 15 grabs for 277 yards and has become a trusted WR for rookie Gardner Minshew. The touchdown streak may come to an end this week in Denver however, as the second-year WR will be going against a solid pass defense.

JAX WR D.J. Chark - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Tennessee Titans
On a team-leading nine targets last week in Houston, D.J. Chark collected seven catches for 55 yards and a late TD, his second score in as many games. Even though the Jaguars didn’t put up many points, Gardner Minshew was effective as the team’s QB and has established a good rapport with Chark. The Titans pass defense has been good versus the pass in the first two weeks, so Chark should be used as a WR3 play, but be sure to monitor the injury report as he's been limited in practice with a sore ankle.
