Week 2 vs. Green Bay Packers

One. One target. That's all Drake London saw in Week 1 against the Panthers. And he didn't catch it. London has all the talent in the world. But so far, this hasn't been the offense for him as Atlanta focuses on the run and the jury is still out on Desmond Ridder at quarterback. London is now a deep flex play and maybe better off on the bench for now in Week 2 against the Packers and their secondary led by Jaire Alexander.

Fantasy Upside
Drake London had some high expectations as a rookie after being the first receiver taken, No. 8 overall, in the 2022 draft. Unfortunately, quarterback play hampered his progress and he eventually struggled to even be a flex option. He did finish with 866 yards on 72 catches but found the end zone just four times. That said, he will gobble up targets. He had the fifth-highest target share in 2022 at 29.4%. With a full offseason to work with Desmond Ridder, London should continue to get targets as one of the clear top options in the Atlanta passing game.

Fantasy Downside
While London will get a full offseason with Ridder, we have no idea what Ridder will be. We saw him near the end of the season and he didn't exactly wow anyone, so the jury is still out on Atlanta's third-round pick from 2022. Atlanta also will want to run the football a lot, especially after investing a top-ten pick in Bijan Robinson, so London's ceiling is a bit capped by that,

2023 Bottom Line
London will see plenty of targets when Atlanta throws the football. It's really just him and Kyle Pitts for the most part on the outside. That volume alone makes him a solid flex option, maybe even a WR2. And if Ridder takes a step forward, London's value grows even more.

Week 16 at Baltimore Ravens

Even with the switch in quarterback, Drake London still was featured in the offense last week. London was targeted 11 times by Desmond Ridder and came away with 70 yards on 7 catches. The connection looks good early on between Ridder and London that he looks like he'll still get plenty of opportunities. It's still not an explosive offense in Atlanta, so London should still be viewed as a low-end flex play, but it's not like there's too many other options for the Falcons to throw to.
