ATL WR Drake London - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. San Francisco 49ers

Drake London is still easily the No. 1 option in Atlanta, especially with Kyle Pitts still banged up. That counts for something. But Atlanta's offense has been sluggish the past couple of weeks and London has not been able to match his early output. He has just 52 yards combined in the last two weeks. He faces another stiff test this week as the 49ers are very good against the pass (No. 5 Pass DVOA). He'll still get targets (39 through five weeks), but he's a flex play at best in a tough matchup.

ATL WR Drake London - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

It was tough sledding for the entire passing game for the Falcons last week against the Browns, which led to a disappointing fantasy outing for Drake London. Things don't get much easier for London this week against the Buccaneers, the No. 4 overall defense in DVOA and No. 3 against the pass. London is still the main target in Atlanta, so he still has worth as a low-end WR2, but you may need to temper expectations this week if you have to roll with him.

ATL WR Drake London - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Cleveland Browns

Drake London is the clear WR1 in Atlanta and it really isn't close. Marcus Mariota is going to look his way. He has a touchdown in two straight games. Obviously, the touchdowns aren't a guarantee but the yardage will tend to be, with three straight games of at least 50 yards. That very well should become four against the Browns, No. 31 in our matchup ranking against opposing wide receivers, allowing over 40 fantasy points to the position (schedule-adjusted). London is a WR2 this week.

ATL WR Drake London - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Seattle Seahawks

Drake London has quickly become Marcus Mariota's favorite target. London has seen 19 targets through two weeks and has averaged 80 yards per game so far. London will continue to see plenty of work from Mariota, especially against the 24th-ranked pass defense of the Seahawks, who will have a tough time covering London. Get London into your lineups this week.

ATL WR Drake London - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 at Los Angeles Rams

Drake London had a solid NFL debut against the Saints, catching five passes (seven targets) for 74 yards. The Falcons did their scoring on the ground in Week 1, but Marcus Mariota has already seemed to develop a connection with London, as he was tied with Kyle Pitts for the team lead in targets. Even against the Rams, London will have the usage to be worthy of a flex spot this week. Look for him and Pitts to again lead the charge through the air.

ATL WR Drake London - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs. New Orleans Saints

Drake London is still dealing with a knee injury, but there is optimism he will play Sunday against the Saints. That's good news for the Falcons because they really don't have much else on the outside besides London, except for Kyle Pitts. If London can go, he could be limited in what he'll actually do. But he should see enough targets Sunday to at least warrant flex consideration, even against the Saints defense.

ATL WR Drake London - 2022 Fantasy Football Outlook

2022 Fantasy Upside
Despite being a rookie receiver, Drake London is in for a big role immediately with the Falcons. It’s him and Kyle Pitts and that’s pretty much it. In case you forgot with all the other crazy news this offseason, Calvin Ridley is suspended for the entire season as a result of gambling on NFL games, including making bets involving the Falcons. So the No. 8 pick of the draft and the first receiver taken should quickly become best friends with QB Marcus Mariota.

2022 Fantasy Downside
No disrespect to Mariota, but he is no Matt Ryan. Imagine how that connection could have been. That said, Mariota can sling it and let London work around the field. The offensive line may also leave a bit to be desired in what is likely going to be a long season in Atlanta.

2022 Bottom Line
Despite the quarterback questions, whomever is behind center will be looking London’s way a lot. That volume alone will make London at least a weekly flex option. Gobble up those targets and eye London near the ninth round.
