Week 10 vs. Atlanta Falcons
Duke Johnson was averaging 2.5 receptions per game and was averaging less than 30 yards. But now that Hue Jackson and Todd Haley are gone, the Browns realized Johnson was actually good, and gave him nine targets in the passing game last week. He turned that into nine receptions for 78 yards and two scores in a breakout performance.
It's hard to know if those kinds of numbers will continue, but the post-Jackson and Haley era seems to at least want to get Johnson involved. He gets a dream matchup this week vs. the Falcons who have allowed a league-high 68 receptions to backs in 2018. They're also just one of five teams to give up 500+ receiving yards to backs this season.
Johnson clearly carries more value in PPR formats where he can be viewed as a low-end RB2 play this week. He's more of an RB3 option in standard.
