IND TE Dwayne Allen - Week 12, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Pittsburgh
Having a back-up quarterback for Week 12 could increase targets for TEs, but who will get them? Dwayne Allen splitting work with Jack Doyle renders both non-factors in fantasy for Week 12.

IND TE Dwayne Allen - Week 11, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Tennessee
With Jack Doyle emerging as a preferred option for Andrew Luck, Dwayne Allen only saw two targets, despite playing 66% of snaps at Green Bay. He is not on the fantasy radar in Week 11.

IND TE Dwayne Allen - Week 9, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Dwayne Allen may return from an ankle injury this week, but his inconsistencies earlier this season combined with his usage as a blocker make it hard to put him in your fantasy lineup. He is not on the fantasy radar for Week 9.

IND TE Dwayne Allen - Week 6, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Houston
Allen showed some life last week with 6 receptions, 50 yards, and a touchdown. But this week, the Colts opponent (the Texans) is #1 in adjusted fantasy points allowed to tight ends. The Texans have not allowed more than 34 yards to all of a team's tight ends in any game this season, and they have not allowed a single score to opposing tight ends either.

IND TE Dwayne Allen - Week 5, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Chicago
Dwayne Allen dropped a touchdown two weeks ago and dropped another long-gainer last week in London against the Jaguars. His pass routes run are up this season, but the targets are not with Jack Doyle also in the mix at tight end. Any hope of Allen assuming the full Colts tight end target share is gone, as he should be viewed outside TE1 territory, including Week 5. You are simply banking on a touchdown to save your stat line with Allen.

IND TE Dwayne Allen - Week 4, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

IWeek 4 vs. Jacksonville
n the preseason, we thought Dwayne Allen would get a larger share of the offense with Coby Fleener's departure to New Orleans. Through three weeks, it's still a split in targets at tight end...now with Jack Doyle. Allen and Doyle both have 15 targets, as Allen is being asked to stay in and block at times. Allen dropped a touchdown last week that would have given him a good fantasy day, but it's looking like he needs to score a touchdown each week to be a reliable fantasy starter. He's outside our top-12 TEs this week.

IND TE Dwayne Allen - Week 3, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Allen had a disappointing Week 2, but it was a tough match-up against the Broncos. His targets should increase now though with Donte Moncrief out, as Allen could easily be the third option in the Colts passing game behind Donte Moncrief. Plus, three of Andrew Luck's five touchdown passes this season have gone to his tight ends, and the Chargers just gave up 4-71 to Julius Thomas. Allen should be no worse than a low TE1 in Week 3.
