PIT WR George Pickens - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Baltimore Ravens
George Pickens had a frustrating game last week with only two targets and one reception. The Steelers need to find a way to get him the ball as he can be their No. 1 receiver.

Pickens faces Baltimore who is ranked 4th in aFPA to wide receivers. Pittsburgh's passing game has been efficient, but the matchup is not favorable.

Sit Pickens in PPR leagues, but there might be some room for him in standard formats. If he is going to put up some numbers, the big plays will be where Pickens gets the fantasy points.

PIT WR George Pickens - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Atlanta Falcons
George Pickens had six targets which seems to be the norm lately. It produced three catches for 57 yards. However, he still has the most potential of all the Steelers receivers and rookie QB Kenny Pickett is getting more comfortable as the starter.

Pickens returns to Georgia where he played his college football and faces Atlanta who is ranked 31st in aFPA to wide receivers. We don't expect a big passing day for Pittsburgh despite the favorable matchup as they continue to focus on the run. Start Pickens as a solid WR3 or Flex for Week 13. If the Steelers can get him the ball more, his numbers should get better.

PIT WR George Pickens - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Indianapolis Colts
George Pickens continues to show he is the No. 1 target in the Steelers passing game. He caught four passes for 83 yards and scored his second touchdown of the season. Pittsburgh's passing game is still a work in progress but Pickens has the potential to have more impact in the second half of the season.

Pickens has a tough matchup against Indianapolis who is ranked 2nd in aFPA to wide receivers. Despite some good outings in recent weeks, this might not be the game to count on him from a fantasy angle.

Start Pickens but only as a low-end WR3 or Flex for Week 12. It will probably be a quiet night for the Steelers passing game.

PIT WR George Pickens - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Cincinnati Bengals
Even though his numbers haven't been great the last two weeks, George Pickens is moving up in the Steelers' receiver hierarchy. Many said he was the No. 2 even before Chase Claypool was traded but now he is making a run for No. 1. The Steelers are expected to make an effort to get him the ball more.

Pickens faces the Bengals who are ranked 12th in aFPA to wide receivers. We are expecting him to get 6+ targets this week and get good enough numbers to be ranked a WR3 or Flex for Week 11.

PIT WR George Pickens - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. New Orleans Saints
George Pickens' stock rose without even playing a game. With the trade of Chase Claypool, Pickens slides into the No. 2 role and might even be more valuable in standard leagues as the Steelers put their trust in him being their big-play receiver. He definitely has shown flashes of that in the first half of his rookie season.

Pickens faces New Orleans who is ranked 16th in aFPA to wide receivers. He should get more targets from QB Kenny Pickett and he should be in your lineup as a low-end WR3 or Flex for Week 10.

PIT WR George Pickens - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Philadelphia Eagles
It seems George Pickens could break out any time and become the No. 1 receiver for Pittsburgh. He scored his first NFL touchdown last week and caught all six targets for 61 yards. The chatter in Steel Town is to get those targets up and Pickens will be the main man for the Steelers.

Pickens faces the Eagles this week who are ranked 6th in aFPA to wide receivers. We expect Pickens to have some big games this season but probably not this week against Philly. He still worth a flyer this week as a low-end WR3 or Flex.

PIT WR George Pickens - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Miami Dolphins
George Pickens had a good two-game stretch before coming back down to earth last week. He caught only three passes for 27 yards. There is a lot of potential for the rookie, but he is going to have games like this on a Steelers offense that is still developing.

Pickens faces the Dolphins who are ranked 10th in aFPA to wide receivers. Although the Steelers receivers are all capable of big games, it hasn't happened much yet so keep any eye on the targets for Pickens and the others to see who QB Kenny Pickett is comfortable with. Keep Pickens on the bench for Week 7.
