DET WR Golden Tate - Week 15, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at New York Giants
At home versus Chicago last Sunday, Golden Tate was targeted a team-high 11 times, leading to six catches for 58 yards. Golden continues to receive plenty of looks from Matthew Stafford and is averaging 93 yards the past three weeks. He’ll be facing the No. 23 defense against the pass, so go ahead and start Tate in this crucial part of your fantasy season.

DET WR Golden Tate - Week 14, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Chicago
With Marvin Jones out last Sunday in New Orleans, Golden Tate had a huge day. He led the Lions with 10 targets, eight grabs and 145 yards. He also caught his third touchdown of the year. While Golden had just one grab for one yard versus the Bears in October, he has had a much more productive back half of the season. Tate makes for a WR2 play this week versus the No. 6 pass defense.

DET WR Golden Tate - Week 13, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at New Orleans
Even though Matthew Stafford threw for just 232 yards on Thanksgiving, Golden Tate still had a decent fantasy day – five grabs for 77 yards on seven targets. Tate continues to be an important part of the Lions passing game and has a great opportunity for a big game on Sunday in New Orleans against the sixth worst pass defense. Go ahead and keep starting Tate.

DET WR Golden Tate - Week 12, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Minnesota
After totaling 379 yards the previous four games, Golden Tate was limited to three catches for 27 yards last Sunday by the Jaguars. The Lions offense struggled for much of the afternoon, with RB Theo Riddick and TE Eric Ebron accounting for half of Matthew Stafford’s passing yards. Three weeks ago in Minnesota, Golden caught 11 passes for 79 yards and the game-winning touchdown in overtime. Consider him a WR3/flex option on Thursday.

DET WR Golden Tate - Week 11, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Jacksonville
In the four games leading up to the bye week, Golden Tate has turned his season around. Two weeks ago at Minnesota, he caught a season-high 11 passes for 79 yards and the game-winning TD in OT. After not doing much the first month of the season, Golden has reestablished his rapport with Matthew Stafford and can again safely be trusted in your fantasy lineup. Go ahead and start Tate, even against a Jaguars defense that allows just 204 passing yards per game.

DET WR Golden Tate - Week 9, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Minnesota
For the third straight week, Golden Tate posted a decent fantasy week. Last week in Houston, he led the Detroit WRs with nine target that went for seven catches and 42 yards. The Lions were behind for most of the contest, so a lot of Matthew Stafford’s passes were check downs to RB Theo Riddick and TE Eric Ebron. Stafford and the passing attack have another tough task at Minnesota on Sunday, making Tate a WR3 option.

DET WR Golden Tate - Week 8, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Houston
After not doing much for the first five weeks of the season, Golden Tate has quickly become a big part of the Lions offense in the past two games. In the win over the Redskins last Sunday, he was targeted a team-leading 12 times, resulting in six receptions for 93 yards. With Josh Norman containing Marvin Jones for most of the contest, Golden received over 41 percent of Matthew Stafford’s passes. The Texans have the second best defense versus the pass, so Tate’s impressive numbers over the past couple weeks will likely take a dip.
