LAC TE Hunter Henry - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at Kansas City Chiefs
In Week 16, Henry had five receptions on seven targets for 45 yards, 50 air yards, 18% of the team targets, and 24% of the team air yards. Henry topped 40 yards for the first time since Week 11.

The Chargers have been out of the playoff picture for quite some time. However, at the time of writing this, the Chargers are likely to play their starters because this could be Rivers’ last game as a Charger.

Henry had a brutal matchup against the Vikings last week but is in a bounce-back spot this week. Henry hasn’t topped 40 yards in his last three games but he is projecting as a mid TE1, has a favorable matchup and is better than any widely available streaming options for championship matchups.

Week 15 vs. Minnesota Vikings
In Week 14, Henry finished with two receptions on four targets for 39 yards, one touchdown, a very nice 69 air yards, 15% of the team targets, and 26% of the team air yards.

Week 10 at Oakland Raiders
In Week 9, Henry led the team in air yards (105) and finished as the half PPR TE6 with seven receptions on 10 targets for 84 yards, 36% of the team targets, and 46% of the team air yards. Henry returned from an injury in Week 6 and since then he leads all tight ends in yards, air yards, targets, and receptions, per Evan Silva.

The Raiders are much better against the run than the pass. They are 11th against running backs but third-worst against wide receivers and third-worst against tight ends, per by our signature schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed metric.
